Dear Maria, God Bless you. However, IF you think of Mary as a mediator between you and God, you are worshiping her dear sister regardless of your protestations. Jesus Christ(God the Son) and Jesus Christ alone is a Christian's mediator to God the Father (There is only One mediator between God and man, that being Christ Jesus; not a priest, not a "saint," not a denomination (like RCs), not a congregation - Jesus alone). Scripture is clear on that. I do not mean to be harsh, just clear of what I believe and believe is a proper view of God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). It is not my intent to bash you for holding to Roman Catholic beliefs, but you greatly will lose your following on CZcams if you push Roman Catholicism beliefs here. That would be a great shame as you and your father are such lovely singers and you have such a loving manner about you. Again, may God Bless you sister. Sola Scriptura, Sola Cristo, Sola Fide, Sola Gracia, and Sola Deo Gloria. I will bother you no further, and I will unsubscribe.
@thaddeusdoyle5086 Ridiculous. Roman Catholicism is the VERY ESSENCE of beliefs outside of Scripture. The reason behind the reformation. Mary was and is an esteemed woman, but she is NOT my mother or an intermediate between me and God. Nor is any other mere human, even the apostles. Roman Catholic theology is so flawed as to be cult like and NOT true Christianity. It is actually painfull for me to have to say so. But to not say so would be "hatefull" just as not warning a child walking into oncoming traffic. Salvation is received by Faith Alone in Christ Alone, and that Faith is by God's Grace Alone made possible by Christ's Atonement as revealed in Scripture Alone to The Glory of God Alone.
