They don't want to because the people stay poor and only select people get rich. This is how Africans like to run business. I believe they think it's worst to have people meddling or having opinions. If they are poor they to busy trying to eat.

@@nevigodstanson7160 They're more than willing to pay for their own processing materials. They have been paying the price of Europeans stealing their raw materials for generations. Billions of dollars have been took in out of the confident if not trillions. So I am quite sure that they will have more than enough money to pay for their own refineries instead of letting you and other countries benefit at their expense. You are taking billions of dollars trillions while giving them penny's back and so call a yes. If they cut off the aid and don't accept your aid, they will have more than enough money. They pay for their own refinery. African countries are rich in mineral resources. They don't need European handouts. They only need to be self-sufficient and independent and learned to stand on their own. 2 feet like they used to back in the old days when they were the rich ones. Don't act like they don't have the resources to pay for it. Because they do. The fear of the Europeans is that African countries will get rich and will become powerful. More powerful than Europeans what makes you think they can't do it themselves they most certainly can

How do you imagine such a shift in power? African leaders would be happy to industrialise, as long as everything belongs to them and their friends, but only a big foreign capital can do that, and such intervention isn't welcome in Africa.

    • @Oyzatt

@@nevigodstanson7160you’ve a point but I think you didn’t mention all. Capital alone can’t develop Africa. The IMF has giving billions of aid support to the African countries but they are still unable to develop their countries.
The problem here is knowledge. The European and the Americans didn’t share technological knowledge with us. That’s why we can’t industrialize our country today. After visiting our country, they took everything and left their infrastructures without teaching the African people how to run those institutions.

@@nevigodstanson7160 not all technological stuffs you can import to Africa today, because of the high cost that comes with it. And some technological stuffs are not allowed to be imported over seas
The best thing for the African people to do is get the knowledge and build those technological machines for themselves. Like China is doing today.
Because Africans getting access to technology means they can make their own weapons and in return it will be game over for the west like today China has become a threat to America. And we know the west depends on Africa resources to run their industries.
So you can see a pattern emerging here. All the power belongs to the African people, ones they rise, is game over for the west. but they first need to acquire the knowledge that will help them get there

There’s actually a history to this whole thing of Africans are poor today.
When the Europeans and the Americans came to Africa back in the days, they built infrastructures. Such as, institutions, and road networks that will later serve them a means to take the country’s they visited resources.
What they did is that, they didn’t share the knowledge with the African people. So we were left in a state where we essentially placing catch up.
Because sharing the knowledge of how to build a refinery for example will means they can’t steal our gold anymore, so they created a system where Africans couldn’t help themselves but will have to rely on the colonial powers. This is the main reason why Africans are poor today and never seems to do be able to grow their country’s

This will not be a simple task-it’s going to be a long road to travel. The game the Continent of Africa is about play it’s not going to be easy and others have been playing it for a long time, everyone try and understand how world economics work - everyone and every country is not going to come of this equally- there won’t be peace for every country and person.
Elon is a businessman man his Decision are mostly based on his stock holders and board of directors- buy American law he has to try and make profit because Tesla is a public company partly owned by public stock holders. There’s a lot more to this whole thing than just, having what looks like having control of your own companies. In part there’s going to be a cultural change about money and credit for most of African countries, it is no way I or anyone can explain to you how layered this is going to be for the people of Africa , because you have to ask-what leaders, and business people do you have to make this work?

Gaza - Israel conflict, as the western worlds (namely the EU and the United States) continue to lose influence and/or continued (subjugated) interaction with the numerous oppressed countries
that they have dominated throughout the centuries. It is truly enlightening to acknowledge that that these demoralizing tactics will not be perpetuated throughout subsequent generations...

If you wonder why they would deliberately impoverish you beyond your ability to survive financially, because it seems like that would be bad for business; your poverty is a commodity bought and sold by creditors. When you do not have enough money to survive; you borrow. That is why they want social services reduced or eliminated. You are not supposed to have any way to provide for yourself and your family except to enter into debt.
