This time we will learn to make Macrame Round Tablecloth again.
The Macrame tablecloth that we will make this time is almost similar to the one I shared before.
Materials that need to be prepared:
1. 3 mm cotton rope
for the size:
- The first rope is cut 450 cm long
- Next 5 pieces of rope cut 190 cm long
- For the following ropes, add 1 strand of rope every time you find a gap when you make a Double Half Hitch Knot
to close the gap.
The size is reduced by 10 cm from the size of the rope in the loop layer above it.
For example: If you add string to the second layer, then cut it 180 cm long.
If you add the string in the third layer, then cut it 170 cm long.
And so on.
- 60 cm cotton rope, the amount as needed
2. Scissors
3. Comb
To make this Macrame Tablecloth / Table Mat, I suggest you make it in a flat place, so that the result is not curved.
The tutorial that I share is not perfect. This tutorial is only a one-way reference. Maybe you can do better.

Hola, gracias por ver mi tutorial. La correa corta restante está en la parte posterior del mantel. Puedes esconderlo entre los nudos en la parte de atrás del mantel para que no se vea desordenado.

Hi! love your tutorials. Is there a way to add a circle around the whole mat just before we start the diagonal double half hitch knot to show separation between the square knots and the diagonal hitch knot pattern?
Start making a square knot at a distance of 2/3 cm from the Double half hitch knot. Or you can try adding another pattern to make the distances look clearer. However, this method can make the rope need longer than what is shown in the video

While I am making this piece it is not coming flat even though I am making it on a flat surface... It curves inwards like a cup
When it curves like that usually means you're not adding enough pieces in between the gaps

I need help quick I'm almost finished and I have 1 square knot left instead of 2 how do I complete it to make it look normal
you can add 2 new ropes so that the square knot have a partner. Add it while making the circle section of the double half hitch knot.

Kk bagi tips donk,biar keras tegap gk lemes pake apa ya kk buat rumbai dipinggir cermin macrame
disemprot pakai hairspray, atau diolesi dengan lem putih (lem fox) yg dicampur sedikit air. Setelah disemprot/dioles, diamkan dulu di lantai sekitar 30 menit sampai 1 jam sampai mengering sempurna, baru kemudian boleh diaangkat/dipajang.
Saya biasanya jg pake lem fox kk cuma kadang suka ngegumpal..
Pada saat d olesi itu kk,apa perlu disisir lagi ?

Tal vez puedas encontrar cuerdas de algodón en mercados como etsy y amazon. Yo mismo uso cuerda de algodón producida por una fábrica local en Indonesia.

Pakai 4 mm juga bisa. Hanya saja hasilnya akan lebih tebal. 1 kg cukup. Bahkan mungkin lebih utk ukuran diameter 35 cm.

@@TriniID minuto 4.50 aparece el sobrante del hilo y luego ya no aparece pero no se q hacer con el me ayudas por favor gracias
agregue una nueva cuerda para cerrar el espacio, el tamaño de la cuerda es de 180 cm.
@@TriniID si eso ya lo hice antes de poner la cuerda queda un hilo corto y después no aparece como escondo ese hilo en el minuto 4.50 que te dije gracias
Si encuentra que el hilo es demasiado corto o la cantidad de hilo es demasiado, puede ocultarlo metiéndolo entre los nudos en la parte posterior y luego recortar el resto para que quede limpio.

Thanks for the tutorial. Does anybody have advise how i can avoid the 17 cm middle part from being a cone? Like.. mine is just not flat like a placemat should be. 😅 thanks in advance
I found when doing this type of project (for example coasters) I make sure I fill in enough of the gaps with the extra cord. If you don’t then it will start forming a cone. This happened to me half way through my first project like this so I had to tear it apart and add cords to even the small gaps. I also made my knots just a little bit looser (I have a tendency to tie really tight knots). That seemed to work for me.

I use a steam iron and press it as I go along. If it starts to roll up and rope and iron it. It works!

Kak aku coba bikin kok melengkung ya padahal uda pakai bidang datar
Oh, itu karena tidak menambahkan tali. Pada saat membuat double half hitch, jika jarak antara tali sebelumnya dan selanjutnya terdapat celah, sematkan tali baru. Walau celahnya tidak terlalu lebar, baiknya langsung tambahkan tali baru agar tidak melengkung.
