This kid was MVP of the 2018 CWS. Batted .419 for the year. Had 16 or 17 hits in the CWS. Switch hitter. Broke Michael Conforto's all time hit record at OSU. Throws runners out with ease. Has two in-the park home runs. Platys first base well. He is a complete package.
over the last 2 months, he has improved in the majors so so much. i was hesitant at first, but he is proving to already be a beast!!!! I love him. GO O'sssss!!!!!!
He won't be a catcher for too long. He has 3rd base written all over him. They're not going to let a kid who can switch hit for average and power sit behind a dish ruining his knees for the next 10 years.
Except for the fact that his fielding at catcher is considered his best trait. He wasn’t drafted for his hitting which he is wasn’t the best at in the draft but his fielding hence the comparisons to Buster Posey
It Is Not Josh Fair enough, I just think if they moved Harper from catcher, they may with this kid. Generally teams will wait for a kid with a surname of Molina to turn up to play catcher. 😂
I'm not getting too excited here in Baltimore because they hyped up Matt Wieters for years and he turned out to be a dud. Wieters was also a first round pick #5 overall. I'll take Hoiles 19th round and Tettleton 5th round over Wieters and Rutschman any day.
He’s tan ultra rare talent. Not only is he an catcher who plays stellar defense but he has the rare catcher combination of great defense and can hit with power to all sides of the field. Add to the fact that he can switch hit and he’s pretty much a one of a kind. Orioles got one of the best prospects in a long time.
Remember watching the college playoffs last year so I could see nick Madrigal play. Madrigal played well. But I remember thinking I would rather have this guy over any other player I watched.
What I saw in this video is that the dude is a stud and he’s gunna find a way to get on. It looked like his main focus was all about getting the bat to the ball and not speeding anything up but just getting the bat on plain and doing his jobs!
Blake Yokeley probably only way they don’t take him is if they decide to go cheap with there first pick so they can sign guys for overslot money later in the draft. But this guy is just to good
No doubt he’s a great hitter but in my opinion, he lacks catching skills the throws were too high and the blocking was bad I need to see more bc I don’t want to believe this myself but that’s what I’m going off of

true talent and that is hard to find these days.

No wonder this guy got drafted #1. Produces power both sides all around the field, strong arm, great athleticism and stats were just crazy this year
He's already used to wearing orange!
I was thinking of the same thing

Peter Parker truth

Adley is not a major league catcher. Switch hitter who will hit to the opposite field, and not try to pull, is rare and valuable.

Adley went to my High School, same college team and position as my dad, favorite college, boom!
Can’t wait to start my franchise with him in mlb the show
Crazy watching him on MASN now, beast.
Next Joe Mauer
A catcher that can hit with power is a rare commodity. He will do well.
also being a switch hitter..
indeed
just a beast
i could watch this guy hit all day...only 2 other people ive ever said that about: tony gwynn and kirby puckett and now this kid
Welcome to the team! #Birdgang
Can't wait to see him playing in the majors.....switch hitting catcher with power.....go orioles.....AR35 my new mlb idol....,
He's all around good but what i really like is that he can switch hit..

Welcome to bmore we need you

Let me sum up this video for you
Kid is a stud
His swing looks like Chipper Jones
Future oriole
Blake Yokeley probably only way they don’t take him is if they decide to go cheap with there first pick so they can sign guys for overslot money later in the draft. But this guy is just to good
Right on the money
The next yasmani grandal!
You got it.......
What bat does he use
he will change the orioles fortunes
I'm praying the royals can get him but I doubt it he's probably going to the orioles.
jhumenik97 waste of talent on either of those teams
@@Srenteria912 It's called a rebuild. Learn baseball.
Even if the Orioles don’t take him, the Royals won’t. They love Witt, so they’ll be taking him
Srenteria912 I trust the royals front office to make a winner but not the orioles.
@@EmersonFitts The orioles front office now is houston's former front office who built todays astros. i think they'll be just fine
We might have the next Buster Posey on our hands boys.
LOOKOUT
HITS well, but could improve the throwing to second base.
Leslie Ayres Based on a four and half minute sample.
Do white Sox pick
This dude played MLB the show and was like “bruh I can be a Switch hitting Catcher CAP in real life fuck this” Lmaoooo
Orioles
Didn’t know you can have highlights in baseball
Ur dumb
Unfortunately, he isnt enough to make the orioles relevant, sure he will turn them around, but they will still be the worst team.
The orioles aren't the worst team
🤐

talos good thing you aren’t a scout 😂😂
