This is how you create your ArrayList in java. Now, you can type fruitList.add(), fruitList.get(), fruitList.clear(), fruitList.remove() and much more!
THESE are the main differences between the array in java and the arraylist in java. You can easily, add, remove and modify ArrayLists, but it's much harder with Arrays. That's the big difference between Arrays and ArrayLists in Java.
This ArrayList can be trick at first... But SURELY you'll get it :) If you followed along, congrats! You learned-by-doing!

Taking time to dissect the code step by step has always been challenging yet rewarding. With comprehending the concepts, you'll quickly pick up the rest of whatever area you're studying. I recommend locating broken code on the internet and fix it up as a random challenge.

I like your short and concise style of explaining. Sure you dont mention every detail (which is impossible anyways)and there are some important things left unsaid, but if you just want the basic information and then work with it yourself, which I think is the only way to truly learn programming, this is perfect.
