I don’t remember goldfish growing up in the 70’s. My mom always bought cheese-its and cheese peanut butter crackers she called them nabs. I love the goldfish cupcake flavor. 😆
My aunt still calls them nabs.
I like Gold Fish a lot but I like the original not the ones that added powder to it to add more cheese flavor.
Goldfish still say Pepperidge Farm above the Goldfish label. For whatever reason they didn't put it on the pickle ones.
I love Goldfish, and I was glad to see they brought the Old Bay ones out again this year. Can't wait to try then spicy dill 🌶🥒
I can eat SO many Goldfish.
That emerald green blouse is so pretty. I love that color, even though when I was younger I would never wear green, then I just fell in love with emerald green when I got older. The color suits you well, Tami!

I heard the spicy Dill goldfish are amazing! I’ve always loved gold fish on the beach I love the extra flavor ones I like to snack on them! I see what you mean about toddler food😀 it’s good in the go! Also the large ones are good also! More to eat 😃

My Mom used to buy as Goldfish when we were growing up in the 60's. Liked them as a kid, but not anymore. I bought the Elf Maple ones, which tasted good at first, then left a horrible chemical after-taste. I couldn't get the smell off my hands, even after washing, so I'm done with Goldfish. Those Ruffles sound like a must-try for me.
Lol! I always thought the same that Goldfish were for little kids. We grew up with Cheez-it’s or I think they were called Tid-bits but Cheez-it’s all the time.
It’s fun to watch a variety of snacks and see which taste good.

My first memory of a goldfish shaped cracker was back in the 80s in store brand versions of Doodads. It was like a party tray with multiple compartments filled with various snacks like sesame stix, pretzles, peanuts and the like.
I remember doodads!
I ate so much Goldfish when I was little; they were a HUGE staple snack!!! I ate them so much, my mom would buy the big cartons just for me lol. I remember how satisfying it was to stick my hand down one, submerging it into the pool of cheesy fishies... Sensory heaven!
Also, it's the most satisfying to eat a palmful at a time. As many as you can comfortably fit in your mouth.. Yesss 😂

I think the Cheetos ones taste accurate to what they say they are. Cheese with some mild/medium salsa thrown in. But I also think they taste pretty similar to the jalapeno ones, and I think those are better. If they are phasing these ones out, we can all just get the jalapeño ones.
I had to see what your review was like 3 years ago for the cheetos salsa con queso, so i looked it up. the review went, Kevin: "those are actually really really good.
they have a good cheesey flavor, they have
a good like peppery spice to them, there hot but there
not scalding the back of my throat , just a little tingle in the back of my throat.
Tami: "yes, i do like them very much. i like these more than regular cheetos. regular cheetos are just cheese
and i want more than just cheese. so with these you get that tingle and that heat so it almost has a bell peppery kind of salsa flavor". Huge difference between the 3 years ago review and this one.
They must have changed them.
@@TamiDunn Yes, food companies mess with recipes all the time. Many is the time where i have thought this food item used to be great, they should have left the recipe alone. Case in point, barbecue flavored hot pockets. These was amazing until they started using the buttery style crust, then they redid the filling. After that they was unedible.
Goldfish Crackers were invented in 1958 they are shaped like fish because they were made as a gift for the inventors wife who astrological sign was a Pisces .

They were introduced the year I was born and I don't remember them as a kid. The year was 1962
The cheetos con queso are good for me. Your prior review was totally different. Lol...but maybe your taste buds were diffetent vs. before, that's happened to me, or could be that particular bag. To me it's just a regular cheeto with a bit of salsa, which is what they advertise it as.

We never grew up on Goldfish. Were they around in the 70’s/80’s? My husband’s a toddler, he loves Goldfish. 😂 He only likes the Cheddar, not the other flavored ones. I hate the Cheetos were underwhelming. I’m choosing the Korean Sweet and Spicy out of the bunch. Thanks for a great review.

Honestly, I like them, but I absolutely never buy them unless it’s to try a new flavor.
I didn’t like the Cheetos salsa con queso 🥴 it’s super weird 👾 it taste like the cheap version of Cheetos ..it taste like Goya raw adobo (complete seasoning) powder 👎🏻 😵💫 or badia 😷
