You could always tell the guys that don't know shit about football because they have the logic that if you have more rings your better than a certain player with less. So I guess nick folls was better than Dan Marino rite? JuJu smith Schuster is better than Calvin Johnson? Stevan Ridley was better than Barry Sanders?

Revis is a first ballot HOF. He has the same amount of All Pro first team selections as Samuel has pro bowls. Asante Samuel is no position to talk shit to Revis.

Samuel wont even be a HOFer, he simply doesn't have the stats or accolades for it. Revis was a much more popular player, had a bigger media presence and was pretty mainstream for a non WR/RB/QB player at the time. I have never met a fan that wasn't a delusional pats homer that honestly believes Samuel is even close to Revis as a player. Its also a good thing fans don't get to decide things like who is in the HOF because vast majority of fans really don't have a clue and are very prone to recency bias. Too many people play fantasy football and think its real life and you can really see its effects. Im sure you have seen some younger fans way overrate or underrate a player and have thought to yourself "Thats a take only a fantasy player would have"
@@Jorge-dw8pb I disagree about the stats. Asante numbers actually looks better than revis. I mean the guy has 51 interceptions in just the regular season alone, that don't include the playoffs. And when it comes to the playoffs, he was still picking em off. He went to 2 other teams doing what he did in Foxborough. So asante is absolutely a hall of famer for sho. That doesn't take away from revis greatness cause he didn't get the ball thrown his way much but as I recall primetime saying he got bored when the quarterback don't throw his way so he had to bait them into throwing it his way and that is exactly what asante was doing for the most part of his career other than that they kept testing him because of his size but he made they ass pay. Bruh going to the hall eventually.
