Big Mistake! I went Fishing on 4th of July Weekend!

Ha! I suppose I didn't learn my lesson from previous holidays. Saturday on the 4th of July weekend is a mad house on the lake. Come along and watch me complain while trying to get on some crappie! Seriously, I need to remember not to do this in the future.

I was expecting the theme song for Hawaii Five-O to start.🤣
Way better fishing experience on the second trip.
It seems the bigger crappie are running in smaller schools.
Definitely a great tip on smaller baits and boaters.
It's so hot now I'll just watch everyone else catch crappie.

I have to agree with your comment about other boaters there. We almost got swamped by very big boat came close to us, the last time we were there. We'll be back when the weather cools down.

It was a nightmare. People don't know the rules. Every recreational boater expected others to steer around them.

Ive discovered a little hidden gem from Walmart. Its the ozark trail baby swimmer. Small little swimbait. The smoke silver flake has caught me a ton of fish this year and the electric chicken color has tore up the creeks and rivers. Have a good one andy ✌️
