ABOUT PIRATE OF MIAMI BEACH:
Hello, I am the Pirate that metal detects Florida for treasures. Most of my time is spent ocean detecting and beach detecting. I will venture off metal detecting and treasure hunting uncharted territory when I hear the call. I will make metal detecting videos as often as the weather permits. Metal detecting underwater, metal detecting beaches will be 90% of my videos. My metal detecting finds are gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, jewelry and coins.
Here in Florida we have this special beach called South Beach. It is located in Miami Beach, Florida. I would say this is the most popular beach in the world if not for the United States. Since 2010 I have been metal detecting Miami Beach.
My metal detecting machines include my Whites Surfmaster PI metal detector. Then my Minelab Manticore metal detector. The scoop I currently use is a CKG titanium scoop with a carbon fiber shaft.
My future metal detecting videos will start to include tips for beginners. I will start to review some products that I buy. Best metal detector for gold and best metal detector finds. Also I will be cleaning and polishing some of the treasure finds

I hate to detect a super busy beach. Everybody wants to talk to you. I don,t mine talking to most people, but it can become ànnoying. And I love dogs but not the constant barkers. They should stay at home, especially the 2 legged type. Just kidding😊 My wife was over my shoulder reading what I was texting, and frogged me in the arm. Enjoyed the hunt, keep pumping them out . Tha more the Merrier!! Onward to 5000 subscribers.😊
This wintertime I got the Minelab Manticore to do some land detecting. I sure do talk to a lot more people on land than in the water. Sometimes on the land it is nonstop. One of my videos is basically me talking to everyone and not getting much detecting done, lol. It sometimes does make for good entertainment in the videos so I stop and chat with people more now just for the videos. Some people have some good stuff to say and bad stuff also, but I can edit that out 😆
This is y I like detecting when there's nobody around...I hate it when they stop look n answer questions....let me detect people.. lol
It does make it harder but when making videos it makes for good content also. When I am in the water it is easier

Thank you for watching! Yeah sometimes just being on the beach is a reward enough. It does get awkward trying to get around the beach when it gets busy. That's why I like to be in the water when I can.

Yes the 2D screen is what I use to choose to dig or not. With limited time for low tide I have to choose the best targets to maximize recovery.
Where do you park in South Beach? No way I’d pay $100.00 to park. I’m too cheap to pay for parking unless there’s no other option. Hunted there maybe 10 years ago while on vacation. Found a small gold pendant and a gold grill. HH
It is just for spring break. I have ways to avoid parking fees

Yes they have really tried to stop spring break like they tried to stop Memorial Day weekend here.
