John Deere 6030 will it run after sitting in town for many years

- me and doc and Joe try to get the 6030 to start for the first time in many many years with several trials and tribulations will we actually secede on getting this old girl to fire up

Why is everyone afraid to use ether. I have never seen anything break because of using ether! JD's are notorious for needing ether to start especially the older tractors. If your going to spend time fixing a tractor this would be one to spend some time on. The 6030 is a nice desirable tractor to own!
6030 best muscle tractor made. I'm jealous lol. The injection pump is big enough to be a engine itself.

Like many a old deisels I've ran. Needs a shot of the happy juice and get that air out of the lines. For some reason they don't like air in their fuel lines.

One thing about Deere's, they are always ready to run. Unlike those red things... They only roll over and play dead when you need them the most.

that is a beautiful tractor and it sounds beautiful too. you guys should detail that paint it would probably bring it right back. does that tractor have a 3-point lift?

@@CrazyDEquipment been watching your channel for over a year and this is absolutely one of the nicest tractors I've seen on your channel and I'm not even a green guy . there the selling price just went up more
OMG keep the ether ( starting fluid) away from that engine that's how you kill it, all you had to do was go through and bleed the fuel system because it had been sitting
I agree never use starting fluid lots of cracked pistons because of it
Not necessarily I have used ether its not the best on them but as long as shoot it in short bursts it should be fine

Too bad it's a "western". GP/RC would command top $. Western too limited in what it can do.
