So many song of the churches today are chants to bring the people into a euphoric state of mesmerism . Where the old song or hymns have teaching and freedom of true worship give me the old any day with biblical teachings and guidance

This is the best version of “Why Me Lord” I have ever heard! I’ve heard it many times by various groups and the Oak Ridge Boys do a great rendition, but this is still the best in my opinion. I love William Lee Golden & the Goldens!!

This song made an impact on me, when I heard it for the 1st time, as my 1st AA meeting. It was the version by Kris Kristofferson, writer, composer and vocalist. I put God in the driver seat that night of Oct 12, 1975, and have not touched a drop of alcoholic beverages since.
