Best to you both, you already are topping this discipline media-wise (as the best franchise for triathlon by far) in being so true to the dream of triathlon living... we (the audience) are all with you whatever your ambition: go for it !!!

A little behind this week and today had to broke off from decorating the kitchen waiting for a new fitted one beginning next week! We could watch the Collins cup over here in the UK yesterday. This wonderful sport of ours just keeps evolving and evolving, now light years away from my very first sprint triathlon way back in 1992!!! Loved every minute of the Collins cup. A great addition to our Olympic profile, the super league, and of course all the regular racing we'll love. Kind though Europe might win, we do have many awesome short courses and long course athletes, on this side of the pond. My Sunday is complete with my weekly catch-up. Oh, hang on maybe not I still have painting to finish. Stay safe, much love from the UK. See you both next week!

I've arrived in Samorin a few days earlier and have been riding in the area a couple of times. It's so flat (coming from a Dutchie :D ) so this will be a fast race! The river still has quite a bit of current although it's 2.5 km wide over here. I'll be alongside the track on Saturday cheering for all the athletes (but just a bit more for team Europe, sorry ;) )! The Championship on Sunday will be my race and I'm interested to see how much I'll end up behind Eric haha

I’m thinking about bringing some stuff, yep! We’d have to just pick a day to set up for a couple hours so we can still train and get race-ready, but it’s always been the goal to get stuff to races :)
There was a lot of money handed out in the form of appearance fees. The amounts were decided by PTO ranking leading into the event, so it's motivating to race well throughout the year just to make it to this event. Paula is Canadian, just living in the US right now.
Pro triathlete goes back to their HS reunion and tells everyone they are a pro triathlete...Listeners do smug smile and begin to describe the 5k they did last summer. Swim, bike, run is exercise. Its not a professional sport that people recognize. You real life will begin once you retire. You'll see the light someday....
