Exploring the Port of Belize in the Caribbean with Sea Leg Journeys

- Come along with Sea Leg Journeys as we explore the port of Belize. Belize is a tender port. Cruise ships anchor about 4 miles off the coast of Belize and tender boats take passengers ashore. It takes about 30 minutes on the tender from ship to shore. Belize is a beautiful port with great shopping port and the boardwalk is lined with swings. Grab a cold coconut at the famous Coconut Bar and if you wanted it spiked with alcohol you can have that too!

Can't go wrong going to a Coconut bar. I bet your coconut wasn't white, looked like good weather and a fun party at the port. We were going to go to Belize this year, but again one of my cancelled cruises. Looks like fun but a long tender. I think we were signed up to swim with Nerf sharks. Have a great day 🙂

Great video. You made a very important and helpful point that the tender ride is long and may not be comfortable for everyone. Like you said, the water seems to always be a little rough making that transfer from ship to tender and back to the ship in Belize. I love how all of your video’s share safety tips. You also mention whether or not seats are available if there is a long walk or long wait somewhere. It’s so helpful! Your video made me wish I was in Belize now. Thank you so much!!!!!
