A cup of sugar is 225g
A Victoria sponge has 150g of sugar
That drink has more sugar than a cake.

The drink is usually put in a massive container so the sugar is way less than having all of that in one drink
its 225g for a gallon which is 6 pints (?) so he added about the right amount - a woke brit
I looked it up, that drink packet is supposedly meant to make about 2 quarts (8 us cups) of kool-aid, so that's not that bad. Phil just didn't get a large enough glass, I guess.
