Very easy Spanish lessons that will help you to improve your language skills. In today's episode Miguel, our main character, will tell us a story about having breakfast. Now that you're clean and dressed it's time to eat somthing for breakfast. In this episode of Español en contexto you will learn some vocabulary and expressions about coffee, the five senses, the social networks and more. By learning new words in the right context you will remember them easily and you will be able to start using the Spanish you learn in this lesson right away.

Cada día desayuno algo diferente, por ejemplo me gusta mucho gachas de avena con miel, fresas, canela y leche de almendras. También me encanta tomar tostadas con Nutella o algo sabrosa como judías en tostada. Esto es un plato muy común en Inglaterra. Ayer para el desayuno comí un cereal con fruta. Fue delicioso!

El desayuno en Turquia es muy importante. Nuestra mesa de desayuno es muy rico .Queso, aceitunas,tomatres,pepinos,miel,marmelada,nata,salchicha de huevo, pan, patatas fritas ..etc. Este suele ser el caso del desayuno de fin de semana. pero tenemos un desayuno mas pequeno los dias de semana, pero siempre hay queso,aceitunas, pan y tomates

Soy de Ucrania pero recientemente me mudé a España. Me gustó comer en desayuno huevos escalfados, aguacate mezclado con jugo de limón y especias, tostadas pequeñas con diferentes ingredientes, pero siempre con queso parmesano duro. Y el ingrediente más importante es el café con leche vegetal.
Soy alemana y francesa y la mayoría del tiempo cómo pan con hambre y queso cuando desayuno. Pero eso depende, a veces prefiero algo dulce como cereales y a veces tambien huevos con bacon. Muchísimas gracias por los vídeos, van a ayudarme mucho :)

These stories are very useful. I easily spend a week on one story, focusing on one slide at a time -- listening without reading the text, listening while reading, looking up vocabulary, copying the slide in handwriting, listening again and again, and ultimately making vocabulary flashcards. One question though -- the narrator for his story often substitutes the "th" sound for the soft "c" or "s". Is that done only in Spain or also in Latin America. I find it harder to understand a word with that "th" substitution.
It makes me very happy to know that you find my content useful. The “th” sound is specific to the pronunciation from Spain (except in some regions), the rest of Spanish speaking countries pronounce the soft C and the S just like in English

I’m leaving a review in general, rather than focusing on this particular video. I’ve watched the majority of the beginner videos and some of the intermediate ones. This review might be useful to some people.
1. I want to learn Spanish from Spain, and the man who narrates the stories is an excellent speaker of Spanish. I understand virtually everything he says. If only real Spanish speakers spoke as clearly.
2. The words and phrases that are highlighted are extremely useful.
3. I listen to the videos, take photos or screenshots of the phrases, and then pick the ones I decide to keep and try to learn. These are the ones I find most useful.
I do agree that the videos in the beginner section are very complicated for a beginner. Some of the phrases seem advanced, and even in the beginner section, there are phrases I have never heard with difficult structures. I would say that the beginner lessons are at an intermediate level, and the intermediate lessons are about the same level but with all the audio in Spanish.
I do recommend watching the videos on this site. It is one of the best sites I’ve ever seen for learning vocabulary and phrases and idioms.

I also agree with you on the fact that my content is mostly geared towards an audience with an intermediate or advanced level of Spanish rather than to beginners. In the past I used to label the videos explained in English that way just to reach wider audience on CZcams.

Listening is a must if one has to improve Spanish, and that way, your story series with a specific theme is really good and helpful to many. But I would suggest a few suggestions, and if you could incorporate these in your videos, it would be much more enriching to the beginners and learners.
1. Please also display the English version after you have done with your explanations, and before you run the Spanish conversation in normal speed. This means that the top half should show the Spanish version and the bottom half the translated English version. This would help learners to completely grasp every single word spoken. And then you can go on in the last section with the normal speed reading, by which time, the learners would have understood most of the words.
2. Highlight the words in the Spanish text which you're going to explain so that learners can know that these words are going to be explained in detail.
3. While reading at normal speed, please show the Spanish text also so that the learners are able to listen and grasp the words which are said in the normal speed.
I am sure you would consider these suggestions useful and would go on to incorporate in your forthcoming videos.
But definitely, your videos are very helpful for beginners who want to improve on their listening skills in Spanish. Gracias!

En Francia , el desayuno es generalmente bastante simple y rapido , lo general es cafe con pan o un pastel o "vienoiserie";
A mi no me gusta desayunar de prisa porque es la cena mas importante del dia ;el trabajo empeza muy temprano (ocho) ,si quiero ser activa hasta las doce ,tengo que "comer"; mi desayuno es café americano o té , dos rebanadas de pan con mantequilla y dulce (fresa es mi preferencia), un yogur y una fruta :una naranja qué da vitaminas o un melocoton en el verano.
Asi me quedo en forma para un dia de trabajo.
Hoy en dia, creo que muchas personas no desayunan en casa...solo toman un café para llevar (?) y algo en la panaderia "on the way to work.

Encontré este canal y me alegro!!!! Estoy trabajando con mi escuchando...puedo hablar, escribir, y leer en español sin no problema...pero teniendo una conversación en español es difícil pa mi...bueno depende del tema pero mi escuchando es “off”. Hablando de desayuno...
En India tomamos muchas platos por el desayuno como 'Idli ' o 'Dosa' que están comido con crema de coco sí estás en el sur ( son itemas de arroz). Y si estás en el norte luego tienes 'Roti' o 'Naan' que están comido con preparaciónes de muchas vegetales.
Esto no es todo.
Hay muchas cosas deliciosas más.😋

normalmente yo vivo solo y tengo colegio temprano en la manana por eso no tengo mucha tiempo para cocinar por eso como tostada con mermelada o algunas comida de noches pasado (last night) pero en lockdown yo viviendo con mis padres y mi madre cocina difrente platos para mi por ejemplo "poha , dosa , pan indio , dhokla" (all indian dishes).

Great video series. I have been watching this series from the first series and love it. I notice the first 4 episodes were in full Spanish, however this one has English explanations. Will you return to full Spanish episodes? I liked learning in Spanish and felt that it improved my listening and Spanish comprehension skills. Either way great job and love these!

I decided to explain in English so that more people who are just starting to learn Spanish can benefit from the stories.
