It took me 1 full day to complete 1dz for my daughter’s money lei for her 2023 college graduation. No procrastination here - Its beautiful! Thank you for sharing your talents with us. I NEVER thought I could do something so intricate as this, but thank God, I’m done!!!! I used an engineering ruler to mark the mm accurately when folding; once I got going, it went quickly! I used removable glue dots to hold the folds down, and hot glue on top of the removable glue dots to secure the roses to the money lei. Time will tell if any weak spots exist and I will secure them again - Thank you!

This is a wonderful tutorial! It's such a simple way to make a rose. I didn't think it was so simple from seeing the rose at the beginning. I see nothing wrong with using double sided tape. One person mentioned glue dots which would do the same job and be removable. Money is a sort of fabric and is very tough. Don't be afraid of taping it!
Thank you. Most of my subscribers want me to use no glue or tape at all when creating origami. But sometimes it's impossible. I need to combine two parts and I chose two-sided adhesive tape, because it can really be removed later. But many people do not like this method either. I am in search of that method which would suit all of my subscribers.

manage to do this without glue by using paper clip. a bit tricky but the result is satisfying and beautiful. thank you for your video.

Oh My God, so cute. You say it's difficult. I think it appears to be a lot easier than some of the other videos I saw. Will try this and let you know if I think it's difficult. Just seems time-consuming. Just have to make it pedal a little larger each time so they can all fit just right. At least that what I think you're doing.

I have to agree with others that have comment about the 'no glue' part.
Double sided tape is the same thing to me.
The Double sided tape I can buy is not ment to release even if it was just freshly put on like in your other video.
If i was making this with fake bills, or just paper, like you are id have no problem with using glue or double sided tape.

NProkuda in origami you also can't use tape, it is not origami if you use tape
Александър Димитров that’s not true. A lot of advanced origami involves piecing together a bunch of smaller pieces. It’s necessary sometimes because otherwise you’d need really large pieces of paper for certain projects.

Will the double side tape tear real money? This is my only concern. Don't want to give beautiful gifts but will be torn apart upon opening.

I just used a strip of clear tape across tip to tip for the bottom triangles, inserted each petals a little snug, placed them with other styled roses on white glitter sand and acrylic diamonds in a glass tear shaped bowl as a gift/gift note Use: Please do! May re-gift & bless others. No harm was done to the flowers using double sided tape, glue dots, or clear tape when trying to dismantle for monetary purpose.

I bought this money in the store Everything for the holiday and jokes. If you have a printer, then you can print out any bills of any form and denomination. I use fake money. But the size of a note like a real banknote.

After doing a research, I could find something that helped to reverse it .. Not fully, but enough for her to have a nice normal life without all that pain and handicap..

I use fake dollar bill but it size is similar to the size of a real banknote.
A fake $1000 dollar US banknote. Fun fact, $500, $1000, $5000, and even $10,000 dollar bills were all real bills that were minted in the early twentieth century. Nowadays, they're exceedingly rare, and very valuable.

Drill a 3/32" hole 1/2" down from one point of the flower. Insert a Christmas tree ornament hook and hang it on your tree. What a great gift to your friends!
