- This summer there was a digital art exhibition at Mifuneyama in Saga prefecture, where an already beautiful outdoor park was transformed into a light-up art installation. It was incredible! This is our first time getting to visit a TeamLab exhibition, which are apparently all over Asia now, and it was an incredible experience! We highly, highly recommend visiting any that you can! I hope I get the chance to see the ones in Tokyo one day!

HI GUYS LONG TIME NO SEE LOOK WE ACTUALLY WENT OUT SOMEWHERE AND MADE A VIDEO
and it's relly relly cool (੭ˊᵕˋ)੭
Rachel & Jun's Adventures! Needed this video, made my night.
Hi Rachel and Jun. I recently subscribed to "Rachel and Jun's Adventures!" and your other channel "Rachel and Jun". You guys have motivated me to work harder on learning Japanese so I can live in Japan. ٩(◕‿◕。)۶
I love that emoji! ( ◜‿◝ )♡
Added this place to the bucket list
It is really stunning. It was really immersive watching the footage, I can only imagine how beautiful it was in real life. Thank you so much for sharing, it means a lot, as I am a power wheelchair user who will never be able to go to Japan, despite loving the place and culture. Videos like this open the world up for me, thank you, from a fellow metal fan! If you need a giggle you should try listening to some Alestorm. They are a fun “pirate” metal band!!!! One of the band is in a slightly more serious metal band called Gloryhammer, which some/most of the songs are based around made up Scots myth, but are brilliant, my favourite song being “The Unicorn invasion of Dundee”!!!!
Rachel: Goes on murder spree.
Samantha: Goes on murder spree.
Like mother like child.
蛙の子は蛙。 (this joke would have worked better if Rachel had drawn a frog ^^")
"Mother I crave murder." ~Samantha probably
Lol
I guess he followed his mother's footsteps.
XDDDDD yes
You guys are my real Life goals. Cleaning up a beach together, going to an art place, having cat children, cooking and having fun together. Stepping on light lizards in a killing spree. Truly relationship goals.
Didn't think the best thing I'd see today would be a distressed and murderous digital salamander called Samantha
This is my new channel slogan
Rachel: "That's very sweet, Jun"
Also Rachel: Proceeds to pick another colour
I laughed so hard when Jun said, “I thought Samantha was a girl’s name?” And Rachel responded, “Don’t make him feel bad.”
He complimented you like Newt scamander would
Jun: Color it this color
Rachel: No that's an ugly color
Jun: I picked it because it's the color of your hair, I think your hair is beautiful
Me: _heart clench_ this is so sweet T_T
Y'all sure we're not in an anime
Trying to be smooth and still getting rejected by his wife :(.
😭😭💔💔
11:30 "That's a beautiful lady over there" - reflection of Rachel in the mirror.
Rachel no sells it.
Sana ol
It’s so creative in which the audience can join, there’s plenty interaction instead of being a normal museum. The vibe of the whole place is insane. I love it
Little meow meow
Actually, I was in a plenty of eu museums and they have a growing tendency of making interactive exhibits. But still sensors and everything is quite expensive. I believe in near future this will become a standard for museums.
I know Japanese people tend to be too law abiding for this, but all I could think is that's got to be an amazing place to visit while high. :D
@@ILuvAyeAye Doing drugs are illegal in Japan and if you go there on vacation as a foreigner and get caught with drugs in your body, you will no longer be welcome in the country. So sure, be an idiot if you wish :D

you made me giggle out loud.... thank you
"Samantha is sooo cute!"
Samantha: goes on a murder spree
* hardcore rock music plays in background *
Nice
I kinda like the idea that those sky lantern type lamps light up when a person stands close to it and that it spreads out to the closest lamps and finally loops back to the lamp that originally started the cycle - that's like a person doing something small, but good, that spreads and effects the society they're living in and the people they care for and then finally the good they'd done circles back to them 🥰 It's like that saying, ... what was it again 🤔 Oh yes 😊 The good you give comes back to you in equal measures 🥰
“ His name is Samantha, don’t make him feel bad!”
The advocate we need
Rachel: Oh there he is! My baby Samantha!!
Scene cuts to Samantha devouring other snakes and multiplying at breakneck speed
There are now 12 Samanthas in this room :)
As someone who's studying to become an animator and graphic artist, this is such a wellspring of inspiration. I wish we had something like this here in the US and I'd _so_ love to see this in person. It's breathtaking.
Apparently, TeamLab has exhibits in California quite often; check out their website.
Man this would be so cool, I live in Arizona and almost always the good stuff is in Phoenix that I can't go. This is so cool.
If you live near an ARTECHOUSE museum you should check those out in the US. Similar concepts to this
You're breathtaking
Yes! I was thinking the same thing. That art exhibit is so inspirational I wish I could see it in real life.
This is what I hope the future can be like. This art exhibit is such a beautiful display of how nature and technology can be combined in the best possible ways.
This is far better than firing fireworks which gives only a few seconds of joy and lots of shit and trash to the environment.
This is the most beautiful way to use technology ever.
Juns complements are so oblivious to rachel. Keep going jun!
shes the main character in a romance/harem anime xD
Rachel's inner child enthusiasm in this video is so adorable lol. Jun complimenting her hair was too cute. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful exhibit! I didn't know it exists. I hope this will be introduced in U.S. Love you guys!

The most beautiful thing that I've seen in a while
Jun: She has hair just like a salamander.
Jacob: Don't say that.
Later
Jun: Just color... just with this. *Hands the orange*
Rachel: No, ah... That's an ugly color. I want it to be blue!
Jun: Oh, I picked the ginger orange to symbolize your hair. I thought your hair is beautiful. Is Rachel salamander!
Rachel: ...
Jun: Salamander supposed to represent fire and stuff...
Rachel: ... My hair is salamnder red? Is that what you're saying?
Jun: Yeah... Is it bad?
Rachel: Haha, that's very sweet, Jun.
Also Rachel: I want... Blue, maybe pink...
Jun: "Hello darkness my old friend..."

Starting at 17:28 it looks like a scenery straight from Ori and the blind forest. So beautiful!
Newt Scammander: You’ve got salamander eyes.
Jun: You’ve got salamander hair.
Love that ❤️❤️❤️
Jun: Your hair reminds me of salamander
Me: What is this? Fantastic Beast??
I love how this video makes it look like the instant Rachel learnt she could make the animals explode, she instantly went on a murder spree 😂 also Rachel's hair looks fantastic especially at the start!
Rachel proving how she can light up a room. :)
Got notif while watching another video and immediately switched over😁
Meowsie me too

That room with the hanging lamps resonated with me. Like, I feel like I could sit there forever
Rachel:

Samantha: * goes on a killing spree *
16:45
Jun: rachel we need tree kids...
Me: YES!
Wow! The tea flowers exploding the petals everywhere just reminds me of a verse in the Bible where it says "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit." The dying flowers spread their petals everywhere. So beautiful. That whole exibit is out of this world.
Oh, cool, I've seen an exhibit by the same company in Helsinki, Finland! The one in Helsinki had that same room you went in to first ✨
I really like this place: nature, art and technology!
The blue lights makes the sunflower petals look like little goldfish! 😍
It would be so amazing to see an art show in England like that and it would be even cooler to be able to draw your own design. Although, with the way English people are, they wouldn't be the nice pretty drawings.
Someone please tell me the name of that piano piece, I’m in LOVE
Thank you so much for showing us the art exhibit. I wish there was something like this here where I live. It was so beautiful
Samantha is a savage
He looks all cute and nice with he's flowery pattern and sweet pastel colors, but nah... he's a stone cold killer
It looks like the forest in Maleficent but in real life. And also the music. Everything is so magical and beautiful.
The lamps remind me of the floating lanterns in Tangled and it's really pretty 😊
So glad to see a new R & J video!
The colors showed up so well! This was spectacular, and really enhanced by your choice of background music!!!🥰
That “ghost hotel” was a bit strange ... no signs, no people?
Thanks so much for sharing!!!
Be well!!!!
This is so cool! And Rachel becomes low key maniacal.
Love how Rachel has to add the disclaimer that she isn’t killing actual animals haha-as if a viewer might think she’s squishing real frogs. I know some people are crazy though so who knows! I thought the same thing in most recent poki related video. She gave some disclaimer about how she’s not actually torturing the cats by making them fetch food and I thought how on earth could anyone think this sweet person could hurt an animal on purpose but then I remembered people be f*^+*g crazy sometimes
Jun: toilett vampyre. That formal invitation killed me.
The stunning visuals with the music brought tears to my eyes. I didn’t even notice that 11:15 started to make me cry until a tear dropped into my lap. I guess I’m just easily touched by art 😅
😭😭😭😭 I wanna go there 😭😭😭😭....
Ps... How did I was so entertained watching Rachel's handmade salamander? 🤣🤣🤣... This whole video is so beautiful and entertaining... I mean, all videos you guys have are so entertaining... You never fail to make us happy always☺️.
Rachel: "I need to make my Salamader stand out."
Samantha: Eats everything and multiplies.
The show was nearly as beautiful as their relationship
this is one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen!! it's so magical
1:55 In Finland we had that art show and it was beautiful and i colored a lizard
Reminds me of those interactive screen things in malls for kids.
I love everything about this video, the art, the scenery, and your chemistry together 😍
What was the name of the artist? I think I saw one of his installations in the Santa Cruz foothills. Thanks for sharing the magic.
I love the metal music once the salamander starts hunting and multiplying!
I’m so glad y’all are out doing such exciting beautiful things!
jun talking about loving rachel's hair color fills my heart!
each place is so magical & beautiful how I wish I could visit them one day
TeamLab Borderless in Odaiba was one of the highlights of going to Tokyo. The lantern room there is a closed room where all the walls, ceiling and floor are perfect mirrors and really makes it look endless.
From now on my fav color is Rachel Salamander and I'll eat my lunch at 7pm 😂 Great vid guys, loved the light shows 👍
"These are the light up rock"
*creepy music starts*
holy shit ...
Beautiful!!! 😍😍😍 I love watching your channel for all of the beautiful places and creative projects you guys get into
OMG Those lights are so pretty! I love how the flowers kept finding your tea, were there sensors above each spot or something?
I'm guessing there was a camera next to the projector on the ceiling that was tracking the tea wherever you put it.
If it's the same as the En Tea House at the Teamlab Borderless exhibition in Tokyo there's a camera and I think an ir blaster so it can detect the bowl in the dark and then just a standard looking projector next to it.
Jun moments made me smile.
Rachel Salamander 🧡
This put a beaming smile on my face, thank you :)
As someone in the contemporary art world, these team lab exhibitions are a very interesting phenomenon. They make way more money and make it quicker than any traditional galleries, and simply through selling tickets. Many contemporary critics look down on team lab because it’s really just catering to the masses and have very little meaning behind the shows, but nonetheless it’s respectable how successful they are.
Ahh, that makes sense. I have also been to traditional art museums here in Japan, and while I enjoyed them I don't particularly think I'm the right type of person to appreciate them fully. Perhaps some of the TeamLab exhibits have less meaning, but I really enjoy how they incorporate science and technology and create interactive exhibits.
I think anyone who looks down on using technology to make pretty art without needing a deeper meaning is just not the kind of person that type of art is for. Personally, I found this much cooler and more beautiful than most traditional forms of art. (My being a software developer probably has something to do with that, but also, it's just so pretty when you get the animation in there that you can't get with traditional paintings, sculptures, etc.)
IceMetalPunk, that’s exactly why team lab is doing well. Whoever started this knew that their stuff would sell better if more people understood it. Contemporary art on the other hand is quite niche and you need a lot of artistic knowledge to understand it. To be successful as a true artist in the elite art world, you have to have new complex messages in order to push humanity’s thinking as a whole. Basically team lab isn’t revolutionary, it’s not pushing boundaries, it’s decoration to them. But that doesn’t mean people can’t enjoy it.
Beautiful video. Love the music. Absolutely wonderful to see you two making videos again.
