I personally am a fan of this game. Yeah some missions are annoying but it’s basically just a 3D platformer with simple gun play. I had a lot of fun with it.
1:03:20 I don't know if Sam noticed this later, but I think he accidentally mapped his controller to player 1 and player 2, notice how Rouge moves at the same time as Shadow, and when he shoots, she punches, that doesn't normally happen in the game
23:24 same happened to me with Secret Rings on the wii i thought it was an unknown glitch until now
The gizoids aren't really explained in Battle other than being ancient tech with advanced learning systems. Eggman stated that he knew it was ancient and advanced but didn't know the exact history behind it. It wasn't till Sonic Chronicles where their story is explained.

The audio problem when you plugged in the Dual Sense is the Dual Sense for some reason tends to override the default input and output settings in windows. You have to go into the sound settings and either reset your defaults or disable the Dual Sense audio. The downside to the second while it's more convenient as it should stay, it may also disable haptics on games for Dual Sense. For some reason it uses the speaker output to make the haptics.
I always loved this game. Funny how I played it when I was like 5 and it took me like 4 years to realize there were multiple paths. Still love the game though. I think the story is basically pointless with that none of them are canon, but it is still kinda intriguing, I just wish they didn't retcon every single story just to add a true ending.
Did Tails install the cyclone on the front of the spaceship? Did he just want to use the laser system part of it there?
I absolutely loved shadow as a kid and still do and i actually also liked this game too. The gameplay was pretty fun, the controls were good, no stupid bugs or anything.
I only wish the multiple endings wasn't a thing.
I really hated that cuz I couldn't really enjoy the story personally. It was too much all over the place.

Also got this game for Christmas, first 3d sonic game I got. It wasn't until years later that I finally got every single ending and ended up learning there was a last story. That shit hit and was hype.
think getting to the computer lab was the final ending I needed and younger me couldn't beat it lol
I was lucky enough to be 11 (almost 12) when the game released and since the game is PEGI 12 my mom said

XD still one of my favs no matter how much cringe it gives now. The story and certain songs on it actually made me cry at times, and its soundtrack is the reason why I like rock music today. I have a lot of good memories playing, it was a good time for me in general so that adds to the nostalgia

This game needs to be remastered for the ps4,ps5 Xbox and Xbox series S it doesn’t need to have 10 different endings I remember playing this game on the ps2 in the you can play as the hero or the villain or just go in the middle just saying but hey that’s just me
