I use Map 2 octane learned on my Kona N. Hits a peak of 23-24 PSI. I also use HKS M45XL spark plugs. Great power increase.

This is stupid. My DCT even without the jb4 has the same top speed. Tuning the car doesn’t increase the top speed. It increases how fast you get there.

If your vehicle's stock top speed is gear/rpm limited then yes, you're correct. Increasing power will simply get you to redline in top gear quicker. However, if your vehicle's top speed is limited by aerodynamic drag and other frictional forces, and not rev limited, then increasing horsepower will help overcome those frictional forces, thereby increasing top speed. IOW, if stock top speed is at 6300 rpm, but your car redlines at 7000 rpm, increasing the upper end horsepower will help you push past 6300 rpm and increase your top speed.
