I guess Joe used EQ matching because why not. both guitars in original track played solo before Sam kicks in. that's enough to make a precise matching.

Not to be a dick, but I think the guitar tone in this cover is some of the least accurate he's done. Paul's guitar is supposed to be on the rhythm setting anyway.

I really don't know why I never got into Interpol, I saw them open for U2 in 2011 but didn't really recall enjoying them. I guess it's one of the many bands I just missed completely, watching this cover has made me a fan of them and I'm gonna listen through this whole album later so thanks!
