REPLAY: Red Bull District Ride 2022

- Red Bull District Ride returns to Nuremberg, Germany, after a five years hiatus. The world's best slopestyle athletes descend through the 5 districts of the picturesque old town that is transformed into a mountain bike slopestyle paradise.
The five districts for 2022 are: Castle District, Box District, The Quarter District, Dirt District and the Big Air District. More details on the course and the city landmarks it will pass in Nuremberg can be found here: www.redbull.com/int-en/events...
Judging will underline how important each district is as the performances of the first four districts are included in equal parts. At the same time, points are also awarded for Flow Impression. As the final highlight of each run, the Big Air jump is rated more heavily and accounts for 20 percent of the overall performance.

Narrating? Matt isn't a narrator reading or telling us a story, he's a commentator, so I think you mean he did a stellar job commentating.
I do thoroughly enjoy the amount of quality cameras everywhere nowadays. Seeing visualization prep in extreme sports has been highly beneficial.
Watching these competition from Red Bull is such a wholesome experience, where all the riders are buddies and genuinely cheering when someone else takes the lead with awesome tricks.
That's what I love about it. Adrenaline packed and it's absolutely insane what these top pros can do, yet it's also never anything but wholesome.

The crushed can would be enough to act as a wheel chock when towing with an e bike.
Also, just like weaving side to side when riding up a hill effectively gives you a lower gear, weaving side to side when towing means you are pulling harder on the tow rope than if you were riding straight.

As I was watching the very beginning of this video I remembered watching a video Sam Pilgrim and Matt Jones did together years ago walking one of the District Ride courses. I was hoping they might do another one. Than all of the sudden Matt's voice comes out of nowhere. It was an amazing surprise. He is great a commentating and I hope he does it more in the future.

The video / picture quality is not as good as the video of this on the Red Bull website - but the Red Bull web site only has clips, not the full competition - where is it possible to watch full Red Bull events in high quality? Do I need to subscribe the Red Bull channel on a service like ESPN or Disney+? Thanks
Congratulation to Nicoli Rogatkin for landing by FAR the best run of the contest! What a robbery! Come on man this is pissing me off so much... I mean all respect to Emil for his backstory and everything but NO frontflip, NO off axis 720, 1080 or 1440, NO double backflip but yeah sure he did many barspins and 3-whips which apparently trumps everything else now...
them 3 whips are opposite plus most of his tricks are backwards and soo technical of course he wins it. A cash roll is great but a 3 windshield wiper trumps it due to technicality. A twister is cool in a video edit but what Emil does wins you contests. Take Matt for example (one of my favourites) couldn't win a contest with his tricks but his edits are incredible. Nicholi's tricks are now being done by Dawid so they are less impressive now, I don't see another rider doing what Emil does
