I used to work directly accross the road from this place. When I had to work late and just wanted to go home I always looked over there and felt a lot better. They had a few incidents with escape type stuff which made for great viewing of police helicopters doing radical maneuvres and undercover cop cars banging around the ruff terrain with bits flying off them. A friend of mine did the sewer trap cleaning over there and siad they litterally used a shopping trolly for all the needles and condoms. He was always suprised that the womens prison had many more condoms than the mens along with syringes.
A mate of mine worked there for about 4 years. He was telling me the other day about how it took them 3 months to find a syringe once and that they had all been sharing it during that time.

I been in all Melbourne prison's and this is a brand new unit looks never been used yet.. ppp is 1 of the worst Australian prisons run by private company's G4S and the prison is called port putrid prison for a reason..
