Upgraded Grizzly Planer Feed Rollers

- UPDATE - went back to regular in-feed roller, it has more ‘bite’ and feeds more consistently. The rubber out feed continues to be a worthwhile upgrade.
A new rubber out-feed roller is installed and I go over some upgrades I've done since purchasing this planer used two years ago.
Thank you for this! I inherited a grizzly 20" planer that was, let's just say neglected and in need of some tlc. Feeling much better about tearing into it after watching you do it ;) Probably going to swap the in/out feed rollers like you did and upgrade to the rubber. sweet.
I have been using the tired out original in-feed metal roller just fine with the new rubber out-feed. Given that I barely have 500 bd ft through in 4 years (multiple passes of this boards) rubber on both is probably the best for a hobby shop since I don’t need the extra durability of metal for super high volume.
This machine is pretty easy to work on and Grizzly keeps a well stocked and affordable parts catalog which is really awesome.
What outfeed roller did you purchase? Share link? Thx!

Are there any more possible mods you could do at this point? 😄
I could upgrade from my 3hp to a 5hp motor 🤔 … nah… I’m good.
