We have the polaris Ranger now, selling our farm in Central Va and moving west. (OK, AR, KS). Selling the tractor, and it's accessories, plus the side by side with the farm and plan to replace the Ranger with a Sidekick when we close on a new place... Plus either a Kubota or Deere tractor... Mower, rear blade, etc.
Good review. I did the same thing on my 500, the net doors came off the first week. Can't wait to get out west.
    Commies took over VA.

Just bought a kubota sidekick. More recreation use for us than work but I'm 58 years old and the need for speed is gone. 40 is fast enough. All.of our kubota equipment performs well and never any issues so fingers crossed. Also love the zero percent financing.

Nice review. We have the diesel version - X1120. Now have over 8,500 miles after almost 7 years. I agree with everything you say. We love ours and it has been very useful and super reliable. After first set wore out, put 26"x12x12 tires on instead of 25". More aggressive tread for wet weather traction when ground gets soft. I have never seen a Sidekick, but it looks like almost verbatim of our diesel, except gas engine that spins faster, moving our top speed of 24 up to your 42 mph. You forgot to mention the under-seat storage, where you can put your pliers, although you wouldn't want to put your phone there. I keep working tools there but it too was not efficiently designed. Otherwise, yes, some convenient "box", like a recessed area over the glove box would have been a good idea.

Andrew, we have the diesel version: X1120. If you are still looking for tire replacements, we have the nice looking OEM 12" aluminum rims, so my tire upgrade moved to larger and wider tires such as GBC's AR1202, which is a 26x12x12 with aggressive tread. Have over 5,000 miles on them and at replacement time will do it again.
