People don't care and are trying to do as little as possible. They're tired, overworked, and hate their jobs. If you call them for painkillers they get mad and don't come back for an hour. The hospitals were different years ago and they would wash you daily. You can go days or weeks without being washed if you can't get up and do it. They could have just googled his name and should be all fired. A friend of mine moved into a community and was doing her laundry there. Some residents reported her as a homeless person who was using the machines and called security. Shortly after they installed a lock with a code and did not give her the number. Her sons had to go to the office with her lease and ID card. She's a BLK lady and the building is 98% WHT. She cried her eyes out and was humiliated.

My mom recently moved into a white elderly building. There are two other black females but the building is nearly all white with white males living there but not one black male is a tenant. My mom heard an alarm going off in one of the apartments and after twenty minutes with no one hearing it or doing anything about it she called 911 and the fire department came and got everyone out the building even saving the man whose alarm was going off for he fell asleep cooking something. Do you know to this day no one not even the management department congratulated my mom for saving all those folks including the guy who could’ve burned to death had my mom not hear his alarm. Those tenants go to bed early and my mom at 87 is up late until she falls asleep. Now had one of those other tenants did what my mom did they would’ve congratulated them big time. Racism still exists what a damn shame. I recently saw the Four Tops with The Temptations and what a show. He should Sue the socks off all who treated him the way he was treated.

Something similar to that happened to me just last Saturday. I had went to a medical facility for a follow-up visit and to get refills for my prescriptions, And I guess something I said to the Doctor Caused her to call police on me. I was taken by EMS to an emergency room where I was threatened that if I didn't take all my clothes off I will be attacked and drugged and taken to the psych ward. I spent 4 naked hours in this emergency room before they finally let me go🤔
This is the most disturbing and disgusting story of discrimination towards an amazing human being. I'm so sorry this beautiful black artist had to experience this poor treatment regarding health issues at this facility. Please file a major lawsuit. The four tops were around in the 1960s when he probably wasn’t born or was very young. Like many funk soul bands and groups , people come and go but the music lasts forever. I have been a soul train fan since the 1970s and I’ve never heard of him. However it doesn’t excuse the shoddy treatment he received.
