- After getting the trunk floor squared away I moved onto the tail panel. Unfortunately this turned into a bigger job than I had originally thought. The whole back of the car was FILLED with fiberglass. I had to remind myself that it's a 70 year old car that was originally a 4 door. How much money/time would you put into a 4 door right? It's fixed now and I can move onto the next task!

Nice job I have to do the same thing to my 56 these two videos will help me a lot thanks for the videos.
Just thought I'd look at your old video on what you did I've got a 56 that needs that tail piece.
I just can't believe that future Dan is going to put a snow plow on the front of the Chevy after all the work that you did
Future dan ain't to smart haha
Liked, shared and commenting. Is that a blue light on ceiling? Or some camera illusion? I’ve been noticing it awhile. But this vid I actually saw the ceiling. 🥃🍻
Love 55
Doing one hell of a job on that body work. You show that you don't need a 100.000 dollars worth of unnecessary tools. Just a desire and need for theropy. That's where I get mine. In the garage. Gonna be a badass car. Cutos to you my brother
Cool
Loving this build, can't wait to see it when its done
For what you started with you have done one hell of a job.
Great body work as always , lots of good information for the future . Thanks
Enjoying following your build! Love trifives and the gassers! I have a 56 and have the same issues with the rusted inner trunk corners. Every thing else is solid. following along to see how you do yours. 👍
nice! thanks for the support man
I have a fiberglass scoop on my 1951 Willys wagon. I used Dzus fastners on mine to attach it. Easy to remove if needed.Cold as hell here in Minnesota and a blizzard tonight. Great work
Yeah I was looking at those. I bet they'd work slick
Looking good. Thanks for the up date.
thanks buddy
Danny I can't believe all the videos I have missed im staying up late cant sleep so I'm gonna watch til I crash lol
Nice body work. Lot bigger job than how it looked
yeah it spiraled out of control
Another Great Video! Thanks!
Very nice job on the 55 and the 57, if you do another 55 see if you can find the patch panels for the rear wheel openings on a 55 Nomad, makes it look more factory, I'm impressed!
thanks!
I just go with general plans when working on anything, you can plan it out perfectly but there are always things you woulds never have thought of that crop and ruin your plan.
no plan is usally my plan haha
badass dude 🤘🤘
Who are you buying patch panels from?
A local guy but I think it comes from cars inc
Question do 56 tail lights fit a 55 chevy?
Nope 56 tail lights are quite a bit bigger.
I want a scoop made. Who makes them please?
just had a buddy make it
One step closer to burnouts
What gas do you use for your mig?
