My first playthrough I found it monstrously hard but I bloody love it now.

I was kind of curious whether destroying the heart would still count as sniper assassin, I wound up sneaking up to the OR and getting a clean headshot through a VERY thin window of opportunity successfully, but this is definitely more efficient. Thanks for the guides as always.

With a lot of help from your walkthroughs
For those who have obtained level 20 mastery, what I did for the sniper assassin challenge is shoot Yuki with the Seiger 800 ghost through the window in 47's hotel room while she is getting off the gondola at the start of the mission. Once she is killed you can ditch the rifle and run out of the room to the left and head for the grounds area. You can then kill Soders however you'd like. I find this method to be pretty easy and reliable. You may have to restart a few times though if the guards in the texan's room spot you or if the guards outside happen to become alerted and come after you.
Maybe in Hitman 1 but definitely not working in Hitman 2! Maybe they patched it.
This is what I did. Snipe her once she gets out of the cable car. Then ditch the sniper and run out to the big window in the garden area and throw some sort of explosive at the window. It’ll kill Soders then just leave using the cable car. Super easy

On a side note, I found out on this version, you can only reveal yourself to Soders using the signature 47 suit, not the default outfit for this mission or any other I tried. I seem to remember it not being that specific on Hitman season 1 🤷♂️
If I remember right, you had to do it the same way in Season One.
KhAoz you might be right but I don’t remember it being as specific as the signature suit.. for some reason, I thought I had also done it with the Santa suit and winter coat on season 1.. but I may have been mistaken.

Nah, all good. I didn’t even attempt the challenge until I’d gotten Mastery Level 20 and I remember wearing the Signature Suit when I did it but that was just because I wanted to use that suit. I’m not 100% sure if it was actually a requirement or not; if it was, I only got it by pure chance.
KhAoz yeah I get funny about trying to get all the challenges done and i thought it would be funny to wear the Santa suit to reveal for Hitman 2 and it wouldn’t pop up as an option. And i changed like 3 outfits and was afraid it was a glitch, looked it up and read someone saying Hitman 2’s version doesn’t work. But then I tried the signature suit and it was fine 👍
I usually get rid of the guards in the basement security room, then snipe the heart from there, or with the pistol if its unlocked. I feel it saves a bit of time and less hassle for most of my SASO attempts.
Well, that's a wrap up. Thanks a lot for these guides. I did all of the classics in the Hitman 2 levels myself, without a guide, but couldn't be bothered to do the same on Master difficulty in Hitman 1. So glad I'm finally done with it. Hugely annoying sometimes, even with great guides, because there are so many little things that can go wrong. Finally I actual 100% on all the levels where only this was missing.

if you have 20 mastery just get the snipper in your slot then snipe Yamasaki when she comes out of shaft at the very start. then just walk to the room where they operate on dead bodies and go up the stairs to your right. snipe Soders on the operating table then just escape.
For anyone with access to unlocks and toys; start as a surgeon with the Remote EMP and Remote Micro Explosive. Put a Silenced Sniper Rifle up on the mountain pass.
Run straight down into the heart room, then place the explosive on the glass in front of the heart. Run across the hall into the security room and place the EMP on the tape. Run out to the mountain pass and snipe Yuki once she's in your sights.
After that it's just a matter of triggering both you EMP and micro explosive. Nobody will be hurt, nobody will notice anything, and both your targets will be down.
You have to kill both targets with a sniper fucktard
I didn’t know why there wasn’t a vid for this when I did it last weekend. I modified the version you made for SASO but changed my clothes at the end so I could get up the mountain path without being spotted. It worked though!
I'm hoping you're planning to do Master SASO and Sniper Assassin guides for Santa Fortuna, Mumbai and Isle of Sgail eventually. Guess that depends on them fixing stuff like the trespassing glitch, and whatever else is broken. Hopefully in the January patch.
I've done Hawke's Bay, Miami and Whittleton Creek by myself, but don't think I can manage those other three without you!

Good to see this one up now, I improvised by doing the normal silent assassin then after soders I shot yuki from the mountain.
for the surveillance recording, I prefer to shoot the one in the morgue, you can shoot it from your position at 5:01
not that easy, he smuggle sniper rifle so he don't have another slience weapon can do that shoot
If you have an agency pickup in the mourge you can do a saso with sniper assassin by getting the briefcase in the mourge and going to the camera room and knocking the guy out then sniping the heart then going to the sauna and sniping yuki before she sits then drop the sniper and run to the snowmobile exit
If your on master the guy that walks around you can knock him out when he’s at the stem cells or nearby then you have to put him in the burner (I forgot what it’s called) then pick up his gun and do the way I said you can do

Took me forever to figure out I didn't have to snipe kill the old dude. Was trying to figure out how to get everyone out of sight or distracted so I could pop him, run out, and not have any bodies found. After seeing how you did it, learning I didn't have to do this... Made it so much easier, was also able to pop her on the bridge and knock that challenge out too (was waiting for a successful snipe run to cross that one off)

I actually lean a bit more towards the poisoned stem cells for soders. It puts me in the way of less NPCs and requires minimal setup. Any poison does the trick.
I managed to do the 3-pack of sniper assassin, silent assasin and suit only on this map. It's really simple if you can afford smuggling suitcase into the morgue
An update made it so you now see the heart go into the trash can

I can't remember if I did this on Master difficulty but because I didn't realise Yuki only goes out on the bridge if Soders is dead I ended up taking the sniper rifle into the sauna, get Yuki isolated in the service area and shot her in the head then. Bit weird but did the job.
Fun fact: you don't need to snipe soders or the heart or anything. You can literally start in your room with a sniper and snipe Yuki as she leaves the cable car.
Then just use the wallbang trick on soders and it's an easy sniper assassin in about 2 minutes.

Just store a silenced Sniper rifle in a briefcase and pull out the rifle when they’re isolated and you COULD use the fiber wire.
Did everything exactly right and didnt save time as had to lure and take out the guard by the two docs(With one being Implant doc) as he kept coming back just as I knocked out implant doctor later. You managed to get in between his patrol due to the delay from what I saw.
I've been trying to do this to get the classic coin, but when I go to subdue the heart donor, the bodyguards notice me even though their backs are turned.

For some reason I can't get sniper assassin challenge even though I followed exactly what you did in the video. This is soo annoying. I also can't get the complete 10 contracts achievement. God this game is bugged as hell.
Same for me, this is the only sniper challenge left for me but it's not working. I'm not achieving it, even with 5 Star SA rating!

keep trying it might be a bug it did that for me when I did silent assassin suit only on bangkok i kept trying and eventually i got it.
Dont know if this is a glitch but I was just messing around and I sniped yuki when she was on the phone in the sushi bar and it gave me silent assassin.
This mission is fucked tired of this broken ass game never spotted but no sniper ass.... finally got thanks freeze

It is so much easier to just use a loud gun to take out the security cams in the morgue area after getting the patrolling black guard disguise

@@MrFreeze2244 oh I know, I was just putting this here for others to have another route that I feel is much easier. Not saying yours doesnt work, just that some people read the comments of any sandbox game walkthrough video for slight alterations which can save time or lower risk.

Great video man. I can't seem to get a kill with the sniper at the end without getting combat alert. I'm crouched using the sieger ghost 300 and doing it like you did and the guards on the cliff aren't near me at all. No idea why its happening anyone any clues??

You don't need to shoot him that's why. Look at the description of Sniper Assassin in Hokkaido

They really toned down the gore in Hitman 2... why? In the first game they showed the heart hitting the wall above the trash can and leaving a big blood spot.
