Nice Review, purchased a Giandel 2000W / 4000W Inverter in the UK a month or two back had initial problems with low voltage cut out , ended up being the cables Giandel supply with the unit were not up to it replaced them with 70mm2 cable and the inverter is now running fine able to use the Induction hob up to 2000w without any problems, still early days but all looking good so far

Great review, thanks. I was going to get the Ampeak 2000 but as you mentioned, it’s not good for electronics and it won’t work with my induction cooktop, so I’m going with their 1200 W pure sine wave although I’ll only be able to turn the induction cooktop up to 50% or so. Again thanks!

I ran the same setup that the Mercedes outfitter did when I purchased the vehicle brand new. It was ground at the first gfci plug. Plus it was drilled into metal sitting on metal.
@@RANDOMFIX yeah it seems you should only have one ground, inverter or consumer box. But I was going to run through an auto transfer switch. Just a tad confused 😕

No, it’s 2200 watts total, the 4400 watt peak rating is only for a few seconds for refrigerator compressors etc.

You can only pull 15amps on any ac outlets on any inverter. that's around 1600w
Unless you're inverter has a hard wire terminal. then you can pull as much as you want through properly size wire.

Yes you can use this unit with a 100 ah battery. If you have not purchased a battery yet try to get a lithium lifepo4 battery
Yes, you can power it with 100Ah battery,but you want to power high current appliance or use a longer time,please choose 200Ah or bigger,the bigger the better
The air flow on the inverter looks very restricted to me
Yes a little more circulation would of been great. The vehicle came with a inverter in that location so I was gifted in a sort the spot but it was limited in many ways.
@@RANDOMFIX ye we've got to make do sometimes. Iv got my diesel heater under the drivers seat. Bit tight in there for it but it was the only logical spot for it.
Nice metal box for it to be in I guess.
