It's the same situation as the launch of CSGO.
The game was buggy and people were hating on it, but the game eventually got better and people came back.
So just be patient and everything will settle.

feel your struggle... Got ranked 3k after Beta... Winning every Primematch, besides one. Feels not right. On the other hand i see friends and even pros shitting in their Rankingmatches and get ranked like 10-15k. they work with weird metadata

It is slowly getting better but what i dont understand is how did valve managed to add a bug back in the game with a new update...who knows maybe it was never fixed and it just came to the surface with the new update, sometimes when i try to bhop or strafe the whole map shakes for a split sec its like i stopped moving my crosshair mid air bhop, people complained about this in the beta and even after the "official release" but personally i never had this wall shake/vibrate problem, it started happening to me too after the last update that came after the workshop update
My crosshair moves normally, it doesnt stop, it is also pretty obvious when i try to peek around a corner, and it cant be a broken mouse since i never had the issue before the update and the mouse is only a week old, its a g pro x superlight so it cant be happening because of a bad or cheap mouse.
I wonder if valve going to launch a decent anticheet some time soon, figured thsts one of the reasons people might be leaving because of the number of hackers
funny how people wanted source 2 and after it came out everybody dislike it cuz "too much performance hit" or just skill issue.... and somehow i only experience 1 but actually only 1 bug in the whole game since march first beta. And i never had those type of issue what other had....

I want everyone to know that the only issue that i have are griefing cooldowns.Example:I played some games without griefing but still got a cooldown because they never watch the demo and it auto bans people if it gets too many spam reports

im not sure about your experience with keydrop guys , but i have won there a lot(like 3-4k€ from 500€) HOWEVER every single skin i had was not in stock (m9 doppler, karambit tiger tooth for example) there was legit not even skins in that price range to exchange for so i had to pull out for disgusting trash skins and since i wanted to sell it i legit lost like 500€+ due to pulling out LITERAL trash that wouldnt sell anywhere

Right now the player base that increased due to hype is decreasing which can be normal. Some players tried it, went back to their games, some hated the game etc. But this amount of average player base did not exist before the rumours and announcement of CS2. In December, 2022 the average player count is hovering around 600k or something. If it decreases even further and if not even a new operation and missing game modes can increase it, then it's alarming. Skin prices will go down even more. It's all in the hands of Valve. They can kill it or keep it alive. I don't play it right now. Not enjoyable.

I wished people would stop complaining about getting csgo back and cs2 bad etc. Sure it's bad right now, but in the future it's going to be even better than csgo. Keeping csgo and cs2 running at the same time would mean the cs source situation all over again.
cs2 is super underdeveloped. no voice chat in lobbys, no subtick they promised, smokes landing in walls instead of bouncing, changed recoil for whatever reason. i still dont get why they removed csgo. i hate that! #bringbackcsgo
