  • Check this bad boy out! All tactical and army green! Super strong auto power! But the button is too low. So we make a little button riser fix! Have a nice day!

    Here's how I fixed mine:
The KERSHAW LAUNCH 16 is FLAWED: The blade and handle are both 5 stars. Zero complaints. My problem is the blade release button. The button sits flush with the side of the frame. For the blade to pop open, one must squeeze very hard to depress it.
How Kershaw could bring a flawed button system to market is beyond me. I'm guessing Kershaw will make an over sized button available.
But in the meantime the work-around is to use an epoxy cement like JB Weld or MarineTex. Throughly clean button, use painters tape to tape off around the button. The epoxy, once dry can be sanded to the desired height.

Just got the Launch 16. Love the looks, not so happy with the button. Really gritty! Tried oil..no help. Will try graphite next but am thinking it probably needs disassembled and polished.

Man I was sure looking forward to that button getting better because sometimes that’s a reason not to pick it to carry especially when having so many to pick from that don’t have anything wrong with them, so it just sets lol. Great video and fun as always. Thanks

Man you are mad to remove the good rubber grit of the knife and to change it with copper. If you'll do that the knife will look awful!

Don’t modify the Mutineer! I love blades that look like plague doctor’s masks, it looks great like that. Reminds me a Wharnie Kapara blade. Doing an inlay mod video would be great.
    GD 🚂🚂😂
I’m not a big auto guy but generally have moved toward preferring OTS over OTF because they can be opened surreptitiously if needed. OTF’s “loud and proud” openings get old.
    Fake credits 😂
    Thanks Prybar

Home depot I think... had it for a while. I used it on a steel frame crkt as well, kinda like an inlay, cause it was so slick... A pilar I think.
