Hope your toddler is in a stage to understand what you say. Communalism is the key in gentle weaning . Start reducing the number of feeds week by week gradually. Down the line your baby will also adapt the pattern and slowly he will be weaned off . I know its hard and will take time . But this would be the best way to wean. Consistency and determination is the key

Just apply neem paste and make ur baby drink once . Next time they won't ask for milk itself..this is how I did fo my daughter..she stopped in one day itself

I am women’s health physiotherapist, as per from my side ,kids won’t forget sucking reflex easily, give food in exact time, because if hungry exceeds more time he will be irritable,make him engage in activities,you spend time with him as outdoor,I was feeding my kid till 4years

I applied neem oil and allowed them to drink, it wud taste bitter and they themselves will go away. I did this to my 2 daughters when they were 2yrs old. So try that whenever he comes for breast-feeding

U can try in thotil during stopping feeding.. I did the technique one week she cried but after everything became normal... If she demand for milk I put in thotil and make her comfort den again if she cries I do this same repeat again again. Those days v need to sacrifice our sleep..

Am still breastfeeding for my 2.5 years son..only on night time.. previously he used to ask frequently but i gradually reduced the no of times of feeding..so that me and himself will get habituated without any hurts.. distraction is the main thing if u want to stop breastfeeding. Pls all moms who r reading it pls don't stop abruptly that too too early .do it slowly so that both will be happy and ther s no guilt feeling

Hi. Now a days it is very easy to stop breastfeeding...but u done a long procedure...my doctor suggested femite cream. Once we applied they never ask milk again...u should have asked ur doctor before stopping.
