Just because something has a more commercial sound it doesn't automatically make it crap... Wilkinson is making pretty good commercial DnB (Well I think he is) This however, really is awful. I'm not going to hate on them for going down this road, because I'd imagine that most people would take a shot at appealing to a wider audience and upping their income if they had the chance but I'm just not a fan. I try not to be a music snob because I can have pretty questionable taste in music myself but 'Tear You Down' holds so many great memories from my teen years, that this really does make sad.
Sami Perez the only good commercial tune wilko has had is too close.. the rest of the album lazers not included it's pretty decent except for afterglow.. I have a pretty eclectic taste in music as well.. I feel like dnb artists who get a bit of attention all turn to this pop Shit! Fresh did now he produces absolute Shit and even wen he does try to produce proper dnb like his new track with Adam f for me it's still crap cuz of the other Shit he released.. sigma did it, the last decent tune I heard from them was all blue and how long ago was dat?? Lol matrix and futurebound kind off went that way abit as well.. this sorta of dnb only attracts idiots who like it cuz its "Kool" and probs label it "EDM" fucking hipsters
Totally agree, Too Close was much better than Afterglow, even though most people disagreed with me and don't get the hype around the vocalist for Afterglow (Becky Hill), she sounds like a nasally Justin Bieber to me lol
This actually sounds very very similar to a song DJ Fresh put out a few years ago actually, think it was called 'The Feeling'? Not sure which one is worse.
It's all about the money and unfortunately changing their sound will bring them more of it.
