- The Solar System is the gravitationally bound system of the Sun and the objects that orbit it, either directly or indirectly. Of the objects that orbit the Sun directly, the largest are the eight planets, with the remainder being smaller objects, the dwarf planets and small Solar System bodies. Of the objects that orbit the Sun indirectly-the moons-two are larger than the smallest planet, Mercury.
The Solar System formed 4.6 billion years ago from the gravitational collapse of a giant interstellar molecular.......

As mentioned, Venus and Uranus spin opposite of the other planets. A good way to remember this is to note they are the only planets that end with "nus". Think, Non Usual Spin.
That's great.
Just one of so many things of the universe that proves all the matter did *not* come from an expansion because of no mind. It is illogical.
What causes this
If the Big Bang is true shouldn’t every planet spin in the same direction?
Very clever..good 1.. these r the best way to remember things like this..well done my friend..I will remember this 1 forever now..it's like ' never eat shredded wheat ' North ⬆️ East ➡️ South ⬇️ West ⬅️ , cudos..

love those mnumonics! they got
me thru nursing school🌻
Part of making a good documentary is having an excellent narrator. This gentleman nails it.
I failed again and again to watch this great documentary till the end because I fell asleep every time I tried to watch it.
I'm actually happy in a way. I get to watch it again and again...
The narrator was born for this absolute masterpiece.
OMG! You too!? I love him. I created a list of all space documentaries I could find of him narrating and those have been part of my bed time routine for months! I love him and the subject matter is amazing.
@lheagallant I would much appreciate it if you can send me on your list. I would love to watch it all. Many thanks in advance. 🤗
@@lheagallant Send me the playlist please :P
Same here. I made it almost halfway. But I guess I shouldn’t watch it so late at night
@@lheagallant polite request + 1 pls
I am 67 and remember the libraries of my childhood having illustrated books of Venus. They pictured ferocious dinosaur type animals growling at each other. I'm so pleased that I didn't misrember or make it up completely. Thanks for the download
Your voice and timing of your words are amazing. I could easily listen to you talk about anything for hours, I’m just lucky you’re talking about the universe. Thank you.

Totally 👍🎯💯
This is simply Spectacular!!!
Perfect to listen to while going to sleep 👌💤
Enjoy!
Ikr, I just found it now. On my way to walk. 😢
I watched this video, from start to end in a state of fascination and relaxation. So much so that I hadn't noticed an hour and a half pass.
I’m watching this on my friends phone..but got to say , Absolutely The Best Space Documentary, with The Best Narrator EVER!!!!!!
He sure has the best voice
What does your friends phone have to do with that?
Mercury: I love you Big brother!
Jupiter: No! You stay near to Mom!
I have watched dozens of documentaries of this type. This one is by far the best.
It’s weird how a good space documentary will make you feel like you’re floating above, observing it all; the imagery, the pan and zoom of the camera, ambient music, a good voice
Plus this was informative af
Yes, I thought exactly the same. Just so well made and beautifully scripted.
I have to agree with you, my favorite show is “how the universe works” and this blows it away.
I'm betting the next 90 mins on this review
Loved everything about this
i wish this guy would tell me night time stories before the sleep :D
That's what he's doing now for me.. you just need to listen in bed.. simple.. lol
Yeah but then the commercials every 7 minutes or so wake me up again..
@@brookerobertson2951 That's what I am doing too!!! More than once lol.
Right
@@brookerobertson2951 right? 😂😂😂
This documentary is light-years ahead of most similar ones on CZcams! Thanks!
Thanks for sharing!
Amazing..driving across i40 in the USA and letting this story take me from one planet to the next. Love it.
Hard to believe. I have a 65 inch 4k Tv and a 4k PC. I have had them both for 3 years. This is my first 4k watch on it. Thanks for this. Beautiful
Flexing
How? Lol
Its amazing that mercury moved past everything to park itself next to the sun without screwing up the entire system. It would be nice to see a model of this happening.
Mercury is such a small planet though. It wouldn't do a lot of damage.
Mercury is quite tiny and the solar system is quite big. It would be amazing if tiny Mercury changed anything during its passage
It’s amazing that the suns gravitation did not pull Mercury apart.
And that it is Venus not mercury that has lost all its atmosphere due to the gravitational pressure exerted on it.
I did some further reaserch on this, and never mind I’m an idiot, I got it wrong random CZcams comment.
Wow!! Now that's an Enigma to surpass all Enigmas!!!
great presentation well put
This video is like an interstellar sleeping pill that shot into my mouth from light years away to put me into a cosmic cryo sleep 💤💤💤
Very much appreciate the length of these videos. I can just hit play and enjoy.
This is the type of video you can use at night to help with a peaceful drift off. Dig the voice over.
AMAZING DOC! Couldn’t stop watching.
I need more of this narrator
Well done!
Thanks for sharing.👌👌👍👍
This production makes planetary science accessible to laymen. Perfect narration with a dash of sly humor here and there. Love it !!
The narration was excellent. Loved his voice
me too, wow....
Agree,I fall asleep to this nightly :)
It’s hot right? 😅🥴
I was just about to say that🙏 Awesome document filled with information and narrator has really microphonic voice and also his precise accent helps with understanding.. This is good for people that start to learn English language👍
So glad I discovered this channel.
Big Bang never happened

Superb video...thanks
Best documentary in a long time
What an excellent documentary!
This guys voice has buttery smooth transitions from word to word
This is for all humankind to see, learn and develop good will and international cooperation for the exploration of Earth and the planets for the benefit of ALL!
Thank you for this excellent & enthralling video
I love all space since.
This one as well a nice
And eazy for a layman's understanding.
I have studied astrology for 45 years
and still learning.
Astrology?
I think you meant to say Astronomy... right?
Very pretty representation of the planets in the thumbnail. Nice to see the rings represented around all four giants
Good clear educated English accent! So rare these days… No dropped aitches; no nasal-toned extreme diphthongs; no glottal stops; no dropped ‘g’ in ‘ing’ formations; no sing-song & false accentuation; ‘the’ pronounced ‘thee’ before vowels (wow! That’s unusual these days..); no ugly mispronunciation of verbs such as ‘distribUte’ (ugh). It’s funny, by contrast, to hear the quaint and repulsive accents in the adverts!
Excellent!
What a channel! Channels like this make youtube
Lovely voice 🤣
best friggin narrator everrrr
This has become my Sundays preoccupation as I try to appreciate the Wonders of Creation, Our Earth where Life continues to exists and ....
What a Detailed documentary, the precision on the words were so explained. I really enjoyed!
Poor Mercury
Unbelievably fascinating.... there is a parallel universe where all 4 rock planets were more earth like....
Wow great video
thanks, im new here... and loving it;)
While it lasts live it to the fullest 🤠
This is the ultimate documentary to sleep away too.
My heart craves for the solar system that could’ve been... Mercury, Venus, earth and mars all harbouring water and life
Excellent
Bravo!
Outstanding delivery and substance!
You said it. Thumbs up.
Exciting
amazingly enlightening and done beautifully...

I also agree that the details, level of research, and the absolute honesty is amazing. Not many straight admit that they are in many ways making educated guesses essentially. That they are doing the best they can with what they got. I absolutely respect this, because this is what science truly is. One of the best documentaries.
Very little is actually known as facts !
Our textbooks are mostly fiction with many assumptions based on opinions !
Cities now underwater are from the age before the ice age melted and none are talked about because they were over 12,000 old !
We were supposed to be living in caves and hunter gatherers 10,000 years ago so ancient cities are ignored by academia !
But what if, aliens actually made the pyramids? What if aliens gave aztects devices? What if aliens visit earth with no clear evidence? What if there are aliens among us? Lol jk
@@ijamsum You're not paying attention: Theory often precedes evidence. Why? The mathematics requires its own proofs.
i'm amazed there are so many stupid pp in the world. in the future some pp woul not know how to breath on their own. everytime i hear some scientist say this planet is... years old, or this bone is ... years old i die a bit on the inside. the carbon dating is not correct as a instrument of measure, nor is the stupid stupid app for knowing your ancestors or the poligraph or the IQ scale. but they don't put ''we assume'' before they give out all the numbers, and so the new generation only take the numbers as fact so the ''we assume'' gets lost so in the future you will be burnt like a witch if you say it's not true.

What if you're a troll?
Exellent video. Thousand bravo.
The problem with Venus is not CO2, it is the fact that it's atmospheric pressure is so high. It is the cause of the lead melting heat, not a run away greenhouse effect, as is often touted.
Dude, when you've got some real education, come back and we'll talk.
Earth is unique. Life fragile.
Q
I agree.
Amen
look into the info regarding the Tardegrade...life seems more resilient than ever thought before…
...as far as we know.
Really fascinating programme
Space is comforting, we are all part of existence, everywhere you look far and wide there is matter in all shapes sizes temperature etc.... And we are there in the middle of it all. We are extremely blessed to be alive and have consciousness. God is great. His creations are astonishing and incomprehensible. I'm glad God let me witness his magnificent creation.
very good documentary. Knowledge is power. Peace and prosperity to all✌ take care of yourself and earth please 🌍 😊.
I applaud the honesty! Without a creator we're guessing!
I love this, I simply cannot explain more, just simple.... and so informative.
This man’s narration is extraordinary!
In my timeline my planets were ; from the Sun: Mercury, Mars, Earth, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neprune.😭---> Oh and we had no asteroid belt!!
I loved the video to fullest. All real but unreachable. Just wow
Unreachable yep..
VERY WELL DONE AND CAPTIVATING...
Life on this planet is on the edge of a knife. Change is in no way dependent on our BS.
It will happen and millions of years either. It only took as few as 75 years for an ice age to break out in full swing... without our influence.
What a great and relaxing vid just the same. 🙃
One hour and thirty five minutes of fine education ....
Excellent! Astonishing presentation! 🙋🙏
Excellent, thank you...
I just watched it agai n. So good!
Nice 👍 documentary and great analysis. Thanks 🙏
I wonder if any models could support or completely deny the possibility of Mercury being the pinball result of Thea.
Yep they tell us a new story every day with like the same hypnotic voice and we believe it..
Another GEM.
Excellent.
Super top 💯👍
Very interesting with lots of new information. Excellent Narrator. Thumbs up for sure.

Unfortunately the more People the more damages for our Earth..
This is a great vid
Realy I like this video so much its interestyng
Remarkable presentation. Impressive.
Good Documentary....love it
Love y'alls work! Thank you guys
Lovely!
Terrific! It bounced between planets alot back and forth and it was a little off path preachy about political and financial obstacles toward the end . but still terrific! Narrator could be Hal from 2001 Space Odyssey lol.
