The dynasty warriors gundam was fantastic! I still think the first one in the series is my fav with how the implemented the cross over story, i found the interactions between the characters really fun and engaging and it's what got me watching gundam in the first place! But after watching this, i kinda want to go back and replay them now!
Hell yeah, dude! Playing this made me start a quest to watch all the Gundam stuff starting at the beginning. And now it has expanded to me getting super into Gunpla, lol. Gundam is GOAT'd!
@@35infinite i totally agree tho but we never had answers why they had stopped but same goes to ultraman games or kamen rider not even a gatcha games like come on but hope they still gonna make some new dynasty warrior gundam games even tho we dont hear anything or any projects last lately
@@gundamdude8351 I always say, if you want something, let the devs know. Email them, use social media, etc. I've been thinking about doing this more often.
God I spent hundreds of hours into this game! This was my chill game, when I just want to turn off my brain and maybe listen to something in the background I would grind and level up mobile suits and pilots. I've been wanting to play this again for sometime now and I wish they would make another entry with more recent series added to the roster or just remake/re-release this game and go the "Definitive" or "Ultimate" route.
I'm not a DW guy, but DW Gundam 2 was my introduction to DW and Gundam as a whole. When I got my hands on a PS3 in 2014 (yes I got a ps3 that late) I immediately picked up DW Gundam 3 and it was awesome.
Seems like your story matches mine. Lol. I became a DW fan after I saw my neighbor play DW Gundam 2, then I started playing DW Gundam games and then eventually the regular DW games.
I know RPCS3 cleans up PS3 games really nice, but hot damn you could've told me this game released just a few years ago and I'd believe it. Looks fucking great. Whenever you get around to Stardust Memory lmk, I'll rewatch it too. I lament selling my DVD boxset of it.
ngl this game looked like the devs ran outta time and had to release it while cutting corners on the voice lines and story but this is one of the most memerable games ive ever played and i espectally enjoyed the ost kinda wish they still had the space maps tho Honestly feel like a really big pile of wasted potential to probably due to lack of time and budget for it
I've played both 3 and Reborn. It came out literally months after the release of the PS4. I don't know why they never ported it. Especially given it's digital only release.
As a musou fan, I gotta play this. It looks really fun. I've never been into Gundam, but this could be my gateway. Also still waiting and hoping for a Final Fantasy musou. No idea how it's never happened...
Question to everyone in the comments: What property do you wish got a Dynasty Warriors treatment? Don't be embarrassed if you say Star Wars, Kingdom Hearts, Marvel, DC, Lord of the Rings, or whatever. This is about you having fun and not you being the head of a game company trying to make a functional game with mass appeal and sane licensing agreements.
I do like it, I think it controls really well, but the stages feel like a step down. Instead of well-crafted maps that represent specific areas from the shows, they are all generic areas based on nowhere in particular, all designed as squares with corridors between them.

@35infinite I fear gunpla, If I start doing it, that would just be the end of me🤣

Imagine all the units if they made a sequel including manga based and maybe a online mode and offline with a randomizer enemy units

Yeah, I was just watching friend's streams and vids while playing, it's a great podcast game.
Would LOVE another entry!
I had a maxed out rank 00 raiser plan.
Basically melted shit like butter.

Dynasty 3 was it, and then I got the Gundam 3 omfg I miss. I wish I could get it on my X series
Solid video man, I've never gotten into anything Gundam before, but this game looks pretty enticing!
Thanks, dude, I appreciate it. The game is a lot of mindless fun.

Funny uou mention FF, cause the way the characters in this game are thrown together reminded me of Dissidia lol

A TMNT DW game would be pretty dope. I can just imagine beating up thousands of Footclan soldiers lol

That's a fair criticism. Locations from the series would've been dope.
