I am looking at making an addon head for my cnc mill, then in mach 3 having a way to power on the lazer and write in text, draw designs marking etc. \
would maybe be a good project going forward

Bought the 30 watt split and it was damaged in shipping. They sent me the integrated model and the head shakes all over the place. I noticed in both your videos that you didn’t show the head moving up and down. Mine flops all over the place. Pretty disappointed in Monport right now. Their support is pretty bad too.
Hi Jeff sorry to here that. Hard to imagine how it could be damaged. Mine was packed in a create.
Why did they just not replace the split unit?
The Gp 3o head/arm is only held in place with a couple of thumb screws.
You do have to really tighten them up.
And there is a specific spot for it to sit no forward or backward movement.
Once I've got mine set I have not had to move it.
