@@CBRN-115 It isn't Mongolian though. The song 'Black Thunder' is Mongolian, but 'Sugan Essena' is that song translated into the Hu's made-up alien language. Except for one bit, none of the song is Mongolian.

Started playing Star Wars and in the opening scene, when I heard the music Cal was listening to, I immediately knew it had to be The Hu. It was just a matter of finding the song.

Okay, I am not the usual person to enjoy things like this (I can smell kitsch a mile away) but...
Holy cow do I love this artwork and what it stands for. All of the fallen Zeffo whirling in agony as their failures brought their civilization to its' knees, and here's Cal, a padawan who failed his master, bearing the legacy of his fallen order (killed by dogma and pride very much like the Zeffo before). And he's walking proudly into this darkness, his broken lightsaber ready, to face his fears, failures and regrets in order to forge something better from himself and the remnants of his dead religion. All to the sounds of fucking Mongolian/Hutt metal music.
Sure, the scenario and its' delivery are flawed in many ways, but the overarching themes and ideas are damn glorious. Kudos to the writers for attempting such a narrative within the Star Wars universe.

Love the band and song. It almost feels like this song was originally slated for Star Wars 1313 but when that got dropped someone fought to put it into Fallen Order.
I popped big time when I heard this at the start of my play through. Been following The Hu Band ever since they blew up on here and I instantly recognized their sound. Really glad to see them get this kinda exposure.

This goes really well with the game, on many levels, it's also a good song.
I feel at peace when this song enters my ears. The Hu has been a great inspiration for me since my grandma introduced them to me. It has inspired me to learn how to throat sing and eventually play the bass guitar. I love The Hu and hope we cross paths one day.
So I can thank them for everything they've inspired me to do!
