I did feel bad for them during the dad scene. But those kids were out of control and needed to be punished for their behavior.

To be fair, he did use them in the beginning just to get to Susanne and was perfectly clear on his hatred towards kids. The sight of children literally made him cringe like they were a disease. Sure they were messed up and wrong for going after all those other men, but they were kinda right about him in the beginning before he evolved with care for them
On part of the trucker, I get him not letting Kevin & Lindsey go, because they said they were kidnapped by Nick earlier. Now suddenly they wanna stay with him. As dark as it is, he may be thinking Nick groomed them or did questionable stuff that now has them wanting to stay. Looking at his face, the trucker looks horrified when they're telling him they wanna go back to Nick.
Shoplifter : Hey, Mister, you got any Yu-Gi-Oh?
Nick Persons : What you think?
Shoplifter : You got any Dragonball GT?
Nick Persons : [furiously] Look. You come in here every day, askin' the same questions. We ain't got no Pokémon, no Digimon, no Buffy, no SpongeBob, no Beanie Babies...

I respectfully didn’t really care for it. I just like the original Are we there yet.
The name of the song that you also love and was dancing to that started playing at the beginning of the movie is another great classic song by The Iconic,Legendary,And The Late Great Prince & The Revolution called I Wanna Be Your Lover.
And by the way,the sequel/part two(2) movie of Are We There Yet? is called Are We Done Yet? and you can also check that one out too whenever you can.
Prince can have that kind of effect on people..

Are we there yet is a classic Ice Cube movie one of his best films
When I was a kid, I admired this movie, and it's relatable in a way. And fun fact as a person with asthma like the character in this movie where the pharmacy guy stated, "Use steam it'll work.". Steam does actually works because it opens our longs up. But now I am thinking about it and just thought about it... even if they used steam and never gotten that refill and kevin had an asthma attack he would've die in the movie.

Soon as i seen them kids, i would've looked at the screen and said "roll credits" and that would've been the end of the movie.
Those kids were devastated when they seen their father with his other family that's really heartbreaking for any child to go through 😢

Why is this always the same take. Just because it’s a fun family flick doesn’t mean it can’t it can’t be looked into a lil deeper, and they literally act like don’t know how to act like what..😂😂😂
When I was a child watching this I thought Cube was the big bad mean guy of the film. Now I see these kids were a pain in the ass. Most children are no where near as difficult as the kids were in this film. I hate them now lol

I get that this movie does kinda over exaggerate the kids behavior but, kids that are in this situation will act out in the most craziest of ways, behavior all over the place, doing things that they would never do before, it's insane how much this kind of situation can affect a kid
