This was the first horror game I played and I used to shit my pants. I was not used to being chased or hiding from an enemy so the first part with the chainsaw dude always creeped me out. I kinda grew up since then and I don't really enjoy any games other than horror now. I still love this game.

Every 10 seconds lool, it's cool now though i have a few strats for his sections i just stick exosive bolts to his head so if an enemy goes near him they blow up... as a character he's fine though would have liked a Joseph DLC
The dog on this mode is just absolutely ridiculous, like I just can’t beat him. Have tried sooooooooo many times and his health is insane.
Actually finally beat him minutes after typing this comment lol never give up.

I just finished it for the first time in survival after dying 142 times
Awesome 😎 run this is one of my favourite horror games I beat this game on the first 2 difficulty levels I tryd to beat this game on nightmare mode but I died 70 times on chapter 2 and another 30 times on chapter 3 I thinking I made it to chapter 5 by that point I died over 150 times and rage quit a couple of times after that I stop trying to beat nightmare mode it was too hard to beat
Really cool speedrun can't wait to see the next one
TEW3 confirmed by the unknown ? well, don`t trust in rumours. if we really are that lucky i just hope they don`t change to FP/VR like every company actually. love that dusty atmosphere of the first games, not in need of pure jumpscare. tension is not depending on that, i got lots of jumpscares in my daily job as postman anyway xD

You got me so excited for a split second when you said Evil Within 3 got announced, but then you said anonymous and 4chan...
i love the first game but 2 was so disappointing for me i could care less about a part 3 coming out and very likey wouldn't even play it.
@ClickBait LORD i don't like it. i think 1 has a better story, better characters, better environments, way better bosses, and more fun and challenging gameplay. i've played 1 like 6 or 7 times, the last 2 times on akumu, and i'll play it again. i beat 2 once and never had the desire to play it again.
I loved the evil within 2, the semi open world was really interesting to explore. Had its problems like boring antagonists but i really want 3rd game
Yeh they killed the most interesting villian off early doors the photography guy didn't they. That was literally the turning point for me from interesting to just OK for the remainder of the game. It just wasn't as compelling from then on. Still a decent to good game overall.
@@smudgy264 I hated the open world, I feel like in two half the time I was just underground and some concrete tunnel trying to pick up loot that I don't care about like gunpowder or gun parts, Laura was pretty creepy in the first one, the keeper was pretty intimidating, idk in 2 the nut monster or whatever, and obscura we're the only two creepy parts, and that lasted not a long time at all, the whole game felt really unpolished and kind of like a hollow shell of what the first one was, and I felt like it was trying to teach me a lesson story wise. My favorite part of the game was anima, and that was the shortest part of the game

Just curious about something sorry if you've been asked this before but is there any particular reason you play with a controller? is there some trick to it that makes it faster or easier than keyboard and mouse or is it just preference?
Only wondering cause I assumed it'd naturally be easier to aim with a mouse but i know some people just prefer a controller.
I assume he plays on PC just in a xbox version

i'd like to see a kill everything run on akumu. i'm sure you could do it, because i kill everything on akumu, including the giant dog boss and laura. then again i take my time playing it, stocking up on as much ammo, parts, and gel as possible.
@@omarboresli876 there are a couple spots maybe, like the one where you're trying to sneak past all those zombies while they're eating early in the game, that i don't think you can kill on any difficulty. or the area where those guys are shooting at you with those harpoon machine guns where the enemies seemingle keep coming endlessly. but besides those rare instances i kill everything.

My god that castle part with dude u locking door did my head in when this game came out. Enemies just kept spawning and I’d run out of ammo...

I here lots things about the difficulty in akumu or whatever. I remember playing this on xbox 360 and while i do not remember the difficulty i picked, it was hard enough

And that doesn’t do anything. It’s possible to kill him, just not in that scene in particular cause you got no ways of defense

I think you have limited saves or the game doesn't auto save for you.
@@dalgusmaximus4557 That’s classic mode in Evil Within 2 that has only 7 saves, however its not a 1 hit death like Akumu.

tew2 does feel generic compared to the first game. so of course the majority of people think 2 is better. they claim 2 has vastly superior mechanics, but i don't see it. to me they are very similar but in 2 they feel more clunky actually. i just think easier = better mechanics to most people. they just suck at the first game.

Could you please tell me how to make a double-barrel shotgun and a powerful rifle? I did OKUMU to the end. I've been finishing quickly... The bridge appeared, and the shotgun and rifle remained the same..
Did you switch it? In the menu it adds a button to switch versions.

The circle menu. The icon will have a button prompt next to it for swapping versions. If not, don't know how to help. For a ps4 the button is a square.
