- Taking a big step inside a USA made Razor Company from North Royalton, Ohio. This company is building safety razors of the highest standards. They spec these razors out within 10,000s of an inch. This is unheard of in the wet shaving community. No razor manufacturer upholds this tight tolerance. Another unique item we're going to be reviewing today is there adjustable shaving brush. This shaving brush is unique because you don't have to glue down you're knot into a handle. With this shaving brush, being adjustable, you can just take in and out daily and switch out different types of shaving knots. A concept that is brand new to the wet shaving industry. Check one out below and thanks for all your support.

Another great video. Beautiful razor! Excellent show of the brush. Didn’t really understand the brush system, but your video explained it perfectly!
Thanks brother I did my best
Another awesome video!
You're the best! Thanks again
Aesthetically that's the most beautiful razor I've seen. To hear and see it perform so well makes it special!
💯
Another excellent video, David, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video. I will be picking up one of those brushes at the meetup and maybe a Timeless razor. Have a great weekend. 👍
Awesome. I will meet you there.
I have the Tuxedo razor and same colored shaving brush as you from Timeless along with their stand. Great products. Excellent video!
Awesome Razor. Great choice.
Very efficient shaver, love the idea of interchangeable knots on the brush.
💈👍
That was a good video to watch I enjoyed it.I will deffintely will be purchasing the timeless razor and shave brush.Wow that is really cool concept of the brush and razor.
Awesome! Thank you!
Nice shave, nice video. Thank you. A little blade feel and high efficiency remind me my Alpha Outlaw's shave.
This razor is so smooth shaving. I was floored
Another great video David!
Thanks
The timeless titanium handle is amazing. The machining that is done in ohio is pretty impressive. The sucker never slips even with a lite grip. I'll be hitting them up for one of these brush kits. Thanks for the time in going over the interchangeable setup.
The manufacturing is off the charts. The brushes, one of the most unique items in the wet shaving space.
This looked like such a sweet spot in terms of smoothness and efficiency.
Yeah. I just did a two day shave with it and it was a one pass shave with long strokes. Just a wonderful razor to shave with🔥
Great video, thanks 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it!
Amazing Shave!!!! I love the Timeless Brand !!!!!!!
Me too. Now
Great vid Dave. Looks like all quality stuff. Loved the way that razor plowed down 5 days of scruff. 😂
You and me both!
I've always been scared to try an open comb, it seems so intimidating but looked great here. the timeless TI crown handle looks amazing, been wanting to pick one of those up (the handle you used in the thumbnail!). Great video, Happy saturday
Thank you much
The bronze razor they have on the site looks amazing. Same as the one you are shaving with but in bronze. With a stand it's $ 185 That's not bad for a super high end razor. Now I have to sell it to the MRS. Thanks for the video. Great job as always.
Great company. Thanks for pointing out the bronze razor. I haven’t tried it yet
The Timeless Adjustable Brush is on my purchase list come bonus time (aka soon). The more I have thought about it since you first referenced it on a live the more I can appreciate all the knot seating options, knowing some knots will be larger or smaller than others. Plus the handle design makes me think it would seat on any brush holder. Thanks for the tip on how you break your brush in...I've got 2 new ones in that I'll do that to prior to my first use.
As for the razor, my eye test looked like one pass up top was sufficient while below the chin only touch up was needed. I'd likely categorize it as aggressive but smooth. Unfortunately for the foreseeable future, my razor purchases are done. I'm starting to get extremely worried about the last razor I bought.
I own 1 open comb and it's for those days I have to do a lawnmower job. With practice and patience (open combs still scare me) I can get a shave done with 1 pass with minimal touch-up around the jaw line. The razor you showed today appears like it would be the same 1 pass, touch-up and done.
Thankfully for my wallet the rabbit hole just about ready for cement to close up. My linen closet is just about maxed out on shave gear.
Great video and thanks for continuing to promote that adjustable brush.
Killer brush that you can put any Knot into it
Nice shave David! Very nice looking razor, I really like the scalloped head look 👌 Nice brush as well, cool idea to have interchangeable knots 😎👍
Have a good one!
Steve
Thanks 👍
I think I love Timeless in general.
💈👍I was floored on how well it shaved. And I’m not a huge fan of open comb Razors.
I just bought that brush handle after watching the video. I got a green one.
I like the fact if the knot wears out you can easily change it. Also bought two knots of different sizes (24mm and 26mm) to decide which one works well for me
It will not disappoint you. Thanks for your support it is greatly appreciated my friend
Excellent review. Nice to have an aggressive that can be so smooth. Out of my budget, but a steal at a third of the price of the precision crafted Tedalus.
Well said!
Great Video. The brush is already on my wish list however thanks for the info on how the knot is measured. Would have probably gone with the 28mm and wound up with something too big. That is a beautiful razor. I actually originally bought one of their blue bowls for making lather. I eventually want to get one of their bronze razors. For some reason I feel it would hold on to heat better. Thanks again for the great video.
That razor is coming up soon. Thanks for your support
I love my 26mm g5c fan knot in my timeless adjustable handle.
Nice
I just purchased the Henson and Merica based on your review. So, I guess I have to get a Timeless now also 😂
All great razors with different characteristics
The Timeless Ti is a great shaving razor. Wish I wouldn't have bought so many Blackbirds. Timeless' aluminum model gives the Henson + a run for it's money too!
Thanks for sharing. That'll make a great comparison
Lovely shave David ❤. Can I use the word 'perfect' for that razor?😊...It looks so good. Watching the shave I see a very efficient and smooth shave process. The razor sure looks astonishing. The adjustable brush concept is truly innovative.
Thanks 👍
That is probably the cleanest "hair to no hair" shave I've seen you have on this channel, no lie. That razor went through the hair EFFORTLESSLY with the AccuForge blade. (Told you those blades were good!!!! 😊😊😊) -- Anyways, that was great, even though the price was up there...but for it being titanium and the results that you got, I'm not mad at the price...especially compared to the Velocity One. I'm getting a custom stainless steel Single Edge razor from Shield Razors this upcoming week to test against the Parker SoloEdge, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs.
Synthetic brushes I don't normally clean like that initially, BUT I have to do that with boar and badger brushes because of the initial animal "funk" that the brushes have. I generally build a lather in a bowl with those and let them sit in the soap for a few hours, re-activating the soap every so often until I go and wash them out and squeeze the gunk out. I normally use a very fresh or cool mentholated soap like Seaforth! Sea Spice Lime or Master Soap Creations Peppermint Latte and it only takes about one really good washing to get the animal funk and gunk out of the brushes, and they are great to use after that.
Great tip. Thanks for sharing.
Now that's a beautiful razor! Can't wait to get one. I like the crown handle pictured in the thumbnail. How does 95 OC compare to Rockwell 6 plate?
Been experimenting with feather blades recently. My new favorite for my face. Much better than shark! 😂 Although, a shark blade with 6s 6 plate is still a great option for my head.
Just picked up Henson's secretly released stainless steel handle from Henson's Amazon store. Nice and shiny! Oh boy, does it improve the quality of the shave!
Way more aggressive than the six plate.
Thanks for the review mate a good price for a titanium razor.
Thank you much. I didn’t think I was gonna like it before I shaved with it. I was completely wrong.
Hey brother, you are doing a he'll of a combo, review, ASMR (sounds are awesome) and showcase of products! You gace5the brush, soap and razor a run for their money! Viva the Rustbelt !
Thank you much
Picked up a t3 and arrives today based on your recommendation. I saw this and thought it was interesting but figured I would try the T3 first. Got some GoodFellas Smile shave soap too along with Astra and the Personna blades. The blades included with the King Gillette Razor seemed to pull, so guessing I needed something sharper?
Nice 👍
Nice video! Great looking razor and brush! Would the razor have performed as well with the personna cc or are those accuforge blades that good?
Not sure I'm still in the testing phase but they're definitely sharper
Great video as always. I have a timeless stainless steel “The Gift” razor with the scalloped head and base plate, and the pineapple handle. It’s absolutely beautiful one of the best looking razors I own, and it shaves great. I have had my eye on the titanium and just trying to decide if I want to do the scalloped cap and base again or flat for variety but I love the look of the scalloped. Also having a hard time choosing between the two titanium handles leaning towards the spiral but I might get the crown also. Which gap did you get on this. 0.68 or 0.95?
.95. All of the top caps and base plates are compatible
Hi David,
I hope all is well. I spoke with Timeless last week. They just rolled out their Aluminum Slant. I’m excited to try that.
Just wanted to get the Ohio Meetup back on your radar for 2024.

Hope we can get some more good exposure this year.
Happy shaving and we shall be in contact soon.
Yeah, I can start promoting this years meet up
I just busted my Simpson T3 knot and had to replace it. Wish I’d known about the one you were using in this video. I was ringing water out of it and it slipped out of my hand into the sink and shattered the handle into 100 pieces.
Wow, that stinks. It's a common experience with Simpson brushes. I've dropped mine a couple of times and it hasn't cracked yet, but I've heard the horror stories.
I love those accuforge blades. There’s also accutech blades which are supposed to be the med prep blades but I haven’t tried those yet.
Me too. I need to get the med prep blades as well
@@OhioShaves I can’t decide on my favorite blade between the accuforge and a shick de blade they both work the best for me and feel very similar. I’m going to send you the shick blades to try and you will like that they don’t have the goo on them either. Lol
They are on Amazon for $68 kinda high for me. Anybody know a better buy anywhere?
I have them in my cart, waiting for the price to drop, which is never going to happen
@@OhioShaves That’s the only reason I haven’t gotten any of the new accuthrive med prep blade because the price is high
Love your vids! Been eyeing the Timeless .68 for some time, but not sure if I should get the SS or the Ti version. Any thoughts?
I have both of them but haven't shaved with them yet. I will use the .68 in my next timeless video. I'm thinking about doing a series with all the different razors they have and brush dimensions
I’m looking forward to that one! 🪒😊👍
Some advice, David, please. I’m ready to pull the trigger on either the Timeless Ti or the Timeless Stainless. Thinking about the somewhat less aggressive .68 (scalloped safety bar) vs the .95. AYK, the stainless version is a beast in terms of weight, so I’m thinking the Ti might be outstanding and not too crazy heavy. I have the Tedalus and love it…have the T2SS and love it…also, the Rex Konsul XL and it’s amazing. What are your thoughts on which Timeless is the way to go? BTW, I’m guessing you had to love DeChambeau’s performance yesterday. No doubt the tour has to be missing those LIV guys.
I would go titanium with the timeless. DeChambeau is one of my favorite players. I didn’t really care for him until I started watching his CZcams channel. The guy has an amazing outlook on life and is a gentleman at heart.
@@OhioShaves thanks….Yes, he plays with the mindset of a kid. Take no prisoners. Not a Rory fan.
Hi David. I love your channel. Sorry to bother you today. I wanted to ask you about the timeless razor ti95 open comb. I have the exact same one you have. I noticed it came with a little guard or some plastic circle between the handle and the bottom plate. Just wanted to know if you have to keep it on? Do you use any type of oil for the threads to feel smoother when tightening or loosening the handle? If you do, what do you use?
You don’t have to use the nylon spacer. I don’t. I clean my razors afterwards with a old toothbrush and let them air dry
@@OhioShaves you're the best man. Thank you
I purchased the Rockwell 6c after watching some of your videos and it is fantastic. Only issue is the personna comfort coat blades I use seem a bit mild and i experience slight hair tugging/irritation on my chin area, what razor blades would you recommend instead?
Bump the plate up to 6. That’s my favorite setup with PCC
@@OhioShaves Thanks, ill definitely try that
If you could only choose one would it be the regular titanium or the slim.
I'm gonna shave with the slim closed comb soon, so I'm a little undecided. I did like the .95 gap for removing days of growth off my face. It was just effortless and for head shaving as well.
I let my synthetic knot sit in dawn dish soap for 3 minutes rinse and good to go!!
Great tip. Thanks for your support
Good video. But you are comparing bulb knot vs fan knot.
the 24mm is bulb
@@OhioShaves wow. Looks more like a fan to me. More fan shaped than bulb. But it doesn’t matter.
What a beautiful looking razor. What are the available blade gaps on these? I'd be going for mild. Looking at ordering from Australia.

@@OhioShavesSorry to be a pain, what does 'scl' mean in the menu?
Not sure where you’re reading that
@@OhioShaves Base plate spec underneath product specs. On link you sent. Acronyms in the "chose options'.
I've got a knot I use without a handle
I keep it in my rotation
I guess that could work just as well. Thanks for sharing
How do you think this compares to the Rockwell 6? It's the shave angle similar and as smooth? Also have you tried the closed comb version of it?
It would be a plate seven or eight if there was such a thing for a Rockwell. It is very smooth to shave with and now I haven't tried the clothes come version. The balance of the Razor is phenomenal
@@OhioShaves thanks brotha. Shave angle similar as well to the Rockwell?
Have you tested the timeless aluminium razor for 49.00? 230.00 is a bit too pricey.
Coming up
How would you rate the razor based on all the razors you have used?
One of the best
Would you recommend this razor to someone new to safety razor shaving or do you need to be more experienced?
Great question. More experience in my opinion. Once your technique is good. This is one that’s worth the investment
@@OhioShavesthank you
Maybe I missed it. Which blade gap did you choose for that open comb base plate?
In the title. Got it.
.95
how often do you change your blade?
Every time. Most people get 3 to 4 shaves per blade depending on the brand. I always tell people when the blades starts tugging on your hair change it out. Hope that helps.
Do you think this razor is as good or better than the Yates razor?
It’s more aggressive than the Yates EH plate and it has a nicer finish than the one I have
How many times per week do you usually shave your head?
Just once in the winter months and twice is the spring and summer
Where can i get the accuforge blades in canada?
I purchased mine from Razor Emporium. If you can’t get them from there, I have no clue. Wish I could help.
@@OhioShaves thanks
Still waiting for rex ambassador review
Matt doesn’t want to send me one to review. Email him
Just bought the Simpsons Alexander Simpson Trafalgar T3 Synthetic Shaving Brush, very nice brush.
Will you do a side by side shave with this razor and the Henson Ti22? I suspect they are a very different razor.
I was thinking the same thing because the Henson is a titanium as well, but mine is in a mild version. I’ll have to use a more mild plate on the timeless titanium razor.
Why don't more guys use a hot towel as prep ? Barbers over the past 200 years can't be wrong.
Maybe because you don’t take hot showers at the barbershop
Great video! #ohioshavestimeless
Thank you!
