The Lighthouse
As long as I can remember I have loved lighthouses. To be honest I wasn't sure what it was that drew me to them. Over the years my love for them has grown. The way I view them has changed along with it.
The lighthouse is more than an amazing building sitting on a battered coast line. The lighthouse is a symbol of hope and strength. A light that cuts through the storm, bringing us safely to the shore. They are built with the purpose of helping and guiding. Right now as the world seems to get crazier every day, I think it is important to have more of that in our lives. We can choose to be the strength support and help that others need or we can choose to me more crashing waves on the shore.
I want to thank @newenglandecoadventures for making this video possible. I had such a great time off the coast visiting these amazing lighthouses. The seas were a bit rough, but it brought a higher level of appericate to this whole adventure. If you're in Kennebunk and would like to go explore the seas yourself please check them out. I'm really looking forward to going back in a few weeks and filming a vlog of the trip and if we're lucky might even do some whale watching.
Go out there and choose to support and encourage others. We need more of that not more crashing waves.
