Also Let us suggest other things to do in St. Augustine. There is so much history in this beautiful place that it's hard to pick what to do first. We do have some great suggestions of everything from an early morning beach sunrise to a visit through time in a couple of historical places. We are staying at North Beach Camp Resort and the northeast Florida beach camping location makes it a perfect spot to enjoy a week of #rvlifestyle and the historic town of St. Augustine.

I love lighthouses. I try to visit as many on my trips, if any, are nearby. The history of this one was really cool to learn. Beautiful area would love to explore this one.

We got to the top in about 20 minutes. We stopped at each landing a few seconds to rest. It was a lot of steps.
That would have been the perfect excursions for my little ones who homeschool. They enjoyed watching and learning. I don't think I could have stomached the spiral stairs 😅

The Lighthouse is a great place to learn history about St. Augustine.
Thats alot of steps haha!! I love how preserved they have kept everything, and all of the history behind this landmark. Its great that it is still operational to this day, and that they have so much information and artifacts for people to learn about its history. I loved the model ships, and the diarama of the original lighthouse!! And you guys got tacos after??? Speaking my language lol .Great trip guys!!
We agree on keeping the lighthouse functional. A lot of steps but worth the climb and the views were fantastic.
I love learning about the history of various places of interest! The interactive activities in the lighthouse would definitely make it more fun for me! There is a great deal of history in St. Augustine. The lighthouse is full of engaging activities. Hope you get to visit it soon .
