Rewriting The First Half Of Yugioh 5Ds! (Fortune Cup, Dark Signers, Pre-WGRP, Crashtown)

- Rewriting the first half of 5Ds. Took me a long time to do this because there so much of 5Ds that i wouldn't wanna change at all. Let me know in the comments your ideas you have for rewriting the first half, I'd love to hear 'em!
Very interesting take on a re-writing for such a goat-ed show! Here are things I would personally change/add if it were up to me:
1. Give Luka her own Spirit archetype and give her more screen time and duels.
2. Bring back the originals plans for the Dark Signers arc. Have Lua become the 5th Signer and have Bomber be his opponent. And thus Luka would be the one to fight Demak alone and we would also get much of Demak's backstory restored of how he was part of an Earthbound God worshipping cult (and that he can also communicate with Spirits like Luka does).
3. Give Rudger, Misty and Carly new Dark Synchro monsters. Carly already got one in Fortune Lady Every but we never got to see that in the anime.
4. Make Rudger vs Yusei 1 episode longer, make the duel more intense and have Yusei summon Life Stream Dragon which Lua lended to him for that duel and have Rudger react to the Signer Dragon that was meant to be his partner.
5. Have Crow be the Last Boss of the arc as intended. It will be a long 4 episode duel of Yusei, Jack and Aki vs Crow where we will also get to see Savior Rose Dragon and many new Dark Synchro Blackwing Monsters; as well as various conflicts of interest between the Signers fighting for this World and Crow desiring to creat a better world for the torn people of Satellite through the Underworld.

Awesome video man! I agree with giving Yusei more losses, Aki more focus and all that. I wonder if an arcadia revival mini arc could have worked like the one Tag force special game tried. I feel it would have been a nice conclusion to Aki and Divine’s arcs
I do have that as an idea! maybe not a full mini arc but i plan to start the second half with a 3v1 of aki misty and carly vs divine
While Yusei definitely needed a couple of losses during 5Ds I feel like having him lose to both Sherry and Antinomy back to back might be a bit much? I think maybe having Sherry duel Aki and win against her instead of Yusei and then having Yusei only lose to Antinomy might be better. I also think that Crow should have been introduced during the Fortune Cup tournament instead of after like in the manga but then I'm not sure who he should have dueled if he was there
I did consider that for awhile, but I also really liked what that duel already has with Aki wanting to then learn Riding Duels to feel the speed and connect like how Yusei does. The back to back Ls are a bit strange but I think it could be good for Yusei to get him to come back even stronger and dedicate to learning accel synchro. Especially since these are the only 2 duels with low stakes he really couldve lost, and against strong opponents
