So cinematic dof “works”, but its only blurry if I turn autofocus off, and the whole screen is blurred, but when I turn autofocus on the blur disappears
it's the same with me, let me know if you find out how to fix it 😔
Try going to the add-ons tab, checking "Copy depth buffer before clear operations"
then go back to the home tab and find the blue button "Edit global preprocessor definitions"
Then next to where it says "RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_UPSIDE_DOWN" change the 0 to 1 then click back onto star stable and it should load
I don't know if this is the right fix for your exact problem but this fixed mine, none of the depth of field effects worked for me.

the gray doesnt show up on mine even though i follow the whole tutorial and did everything you did?
Hii the issue I have with that dof filter is that when I change the auto focus point it only shows blue and the pink lines, but the grey backround it dosent, that’s why when I have auto focus on the whole screen is focused and idk what to do
same 😭
My Problem is with the dof that the whole screen is unfocused even when I personalize where it should be there is no blue line oder ,,moving part‘‘ that moves the focus my complete character and everything is blurry
When I turn on dog and try to focus it it does nothing, pleaseeee help!

The effects disappear when you open photomode, do you know how to fix this?
when i turn off anti aliasing it used to work in photo mode, but i'm not sure if it works anymore. if turning off anti aliasing doesn't work i'll see if there's another option :D
Just a question, when I go into Program Files (x86) Star Stable does not show up. Do you know how to get it to work?
there are 2 program one that says program (x86) and one that just says programs try to see if it is in programs. mine is

so, when you do this can you already be in sso when downloading it and stuff or once you're done you log into sso?
you have to log into sso after downloading reshade. if you’re already in sso WHILE downloading it it won’t work :)

How do I fix my star stable? It's breaking and it wont open..
Try uninstalling reshade if that was the problem. Go to your downloads on your computer and delete reshade. If that works your computer/laptop might not be able to run it 🙂
Im in sso but the home butten didn't works
When I press on the sso file it says no items match ur search
try looking for the sso file under program files x86 or program files. it'll be in one of those :)
when i press back everything removes

try looking under normal program files, sometimes it won't show up under the program x86 files.

Can you tell me how to fix it when my reshade preset appears and disappears and so on? I need it not to disappear, but how to say it stands still because otherwise the videos are terrible.

try looking under the "This PC" option. you might have to scroll down through your files. hope this helps!

Everything I left click my screen goes blue,why?
the blue screen shows you that the shaders are on i believe, and it'll show you the x and y coordinates for where the shaders are focusing on.

You need to check 'Program Files' and 'Program Files x86' it will be in one of them 💗

how do i open it ith my home key?
I ran into this same problem. The home key on my computer is the number 7 on the square right keypad.

what is the ' home' button? i have it all installed but i cant seem to find the home button once i open star stable and try to get to the menu to turn on the shader
The home button is a key on your keyboard
Can you get banned for using reshade?
i don't think you can, it's just shaders lol. star stable usually only bans people if they're using a client to enhance the game/cheat.

the home button can sometimes be different on different keyboards. try using f9 maybe?
Had this problem for like a year my home button never worked on any game ever but turns out some applications can somehow make the home button inaccessible 🤷🏻♀️ for me it was Citrix workspace I uninstalled that and my reshade finally worked

Ok so i have star stable in the program files but when i click star stable theres nothing in the files, what do i do?
Did you click program files x86? Sso moved the folder to regular program files on your driver.
