  • Our first week of our two week Argentina trip. We travel to Buenos Aires where we explore the vibrant streets of Caminito, taste delicious food at San Telmo market and various restaurants in the city and check out some of the many parks that Buenos Aires has to offer, like the Japanese gardens!
    We then fly up to Iguazu where we experienced the magnificent Iguazu falls on both the Argentine side and the Brazilian side.

    Well, Ash & Kels , WHAT a trip that was!!!!
    Iguazu is THE top of my bucket list. A heartfelt thank you for such an in depth experience of the Falls. It is truly an amazing place.
    I just love waterfalls.. Even the 'baby' ones. Been to Niagara and was blown away by that!
    Did you know that Eleanor Roosevelt said "Poor Niagara" when she saw Iguazu?!!! ❤

    Argentina looks so beautiful, so much natural beauty and colorful cities! Definitely one of the most unique bookstores ever! Dinner looks tasty 😋😋 The garden looks beautiful, the emperor should have done more traveling 😁😁 That is a breath taking waterfall 😲😲I think we'd like the Argentinian side more.

    The Recoleta cemetery is beautiful with its mausoleum and elegant architecture. Most of those families called on sculptors from Italy to make those very beautiful sculptures. I tell you, go there. It is very similar to the Paris cemetery.

    Bueno chicos, a la Garganta del Diablo (el centro de Las Cataratas del Río Iguazú), no se llega a través de esas pasarelas que se rompieron. Se llega a través de un "tren" que recorre algunos kilómetros y después se camina un par de kms por una pasarela cuyo punto final es justamente el punto culminante de este paseo, La Garganta del Diablo !.
    Well guys, you can't get to the Devil's Throat (the center of the Iguazú River Falls) through those broken walkways. It is reached by a "train" that travels a few kilometers and then you walk a couple of kilometers along a walkway whose end point is precisely the highlight of this walk, The Devil's Throat!

    • @AshandKels
      @AshandKels  Před 6 měsíci +1

      The train wasn’t running as the walkway has been recently destroyed by the heavy rainfall! The whole area around devils throat was closed off!

    Please, put this text on Google Translator, =P: No puedo imaginar cuánto habrán discutido sobre qué contenido colocar en el video y cuál debería quedar afuera. Estoy seguro de que vivieron y sintieron mucho más de lo que pudieron mostrar. ¿Puerto Madero no les recordó el puerto de Liverpool? Fue construido en una época donde las principales inversiones en Argentina eran británicas. Las estaciones de ferrocarril y los puertos son casi copias de las del Reino Unido. Argentina exportaba carne, cuero, lana y cereales que eran industrializados allá. Hay mucha influencia británica en varios barrios y ciudades de Buenos Aires. Amamos Gales, Escocia e Irlanda. Y en la Patagonia tenemos colonias galesas donde aún se habla el idioma y se conserva la cultura y comidas tradicionales!!

    Esas casas de colores tan fuertes se llaman ""conventillos"' , ahora no vive nadie ahi pero a principios del siglo xx eran la primera morada de los migrantes principalmente italianos de genova que eran pobres y hacian sus casas con chapas metálicas y la pintura era los restos de la usada para pintar los barcos por eso la ""falta de uniformidad del color "".ahi nació el TANGO .
