My original comment on the 21st somehow got deleted, so here’s an abridged version. I’m a latecomer to Indo-Soul-Fusion and certainly no expert on music at large, but I do feel you should exploit your most remarkable voice more often rather than linger on with the « experiments" your violin might or might not lead you into breaking new ground - Bach, Vivaldi and Paganinni set aside. In this rendering of Bharathiyar's « Aasai Mugam", you most certainly come more than close to tugging at the heart-strings with a formidable range of modulations in tone that convey sincerity and humility in a way that the poem’s overt piety might underscore for the believer. krishnamurthy sundaresan Ganesan I'm afraid not. These are Mahakavi Bharathiyar's words and has been performed by Carnatic musicians since many decades now. I'm not sure if he set the tune for this as well.
