Ha brilliant, the KTM looks like a brilliant package, not only can it munch miles it can fry sports bikes on track too. Looks like you guys had a blast, oh and that drone footage is kick arse! Really looking forward to seeing more. Keep up the great work Sir! :)
+Sixth Gear Motorcycles thanks dude, yeah it's all the fun of the Super Duke and so practical & that electronic suspension in sport is better than the stock 1290R!
Love it, every time in 3rd gear you have to do a wheelie, I read it in the owners manual yesterday. Brilliant and funny. Where else do you get a rteview with that in. Thumbs up Chops. :-)
Great video mate, cant wait for the rest. Only 3 weeks and I take my own GT down the length of the UK (514 miles) for a service, then back. You might have convinced me to do a track day at Donington too.
Awesome video, I know i'm a bit late to the party but the main reason i'm commenting is because I wanted to tell you I approve of your song choices very much ;) Not sure if anyone else noticed but I do like a bit of Blink182 to outro a video :D
+Look At Me Luis yeah it's quite something and has two levels! Only takes 25 mins to cross the channel once you get going... still an hour of faffery beforehand 😂😂
Q. How did you Shield the Seat from the Heat of the Engine.? It's a Pain in the Arrs after about an hour. Tried the Aluminum Heat 'Roofing' Insulation but that didn't work. Love the Bike but definitely not the Engine Heating up the Seat...
This was a great video, and what's coming up looks awesome too :-) Just wondering, how did the 650f manage the trip? I've got one, but my longest ride has only been about 5 hours
Great upload. Did a similar trip on my Tuono last year, was great but a little cramped on the legs. Do you think the SuperDuke R would have been good for the trip?
+Jim 86 yes Super Duke does have a little more legroom than the Tuono.. not much but a bit. A screen on the SD and would be perfect, they even do soft panniers for it
Entertaining as always with your comments. You want to cover your friends plates but these can be easily read in some takes (hd vid).... so why bother? :)
Hey Chops, Every time I watch a video from your side of the pond, everyone is wearing tracksuits and helmets. Is this accurate with everyone? Not many over here in the US even bother with a helmet.
Cool vid! I just bought the SuperDuke GT as well. Such a beast!! :) Quick question: could you share the link to your phone stand? I want something like yours cuz yours doesn’t obstruct normal view and it’s mounted behind the windshield so it’s more air-dynamic! Thanks!
I just ziptied phone to stock satnav mount I think.. If you want the best mount check out ultimate addons. Have one of thier mounts now and it's really good! Thanks for the kind words btw 👍
Great video, but I'm curious, don't you worry about blatantly displaying excessive speeding in your videos? Wondering about whether it could be used against you...
Yes its a worry but not so much when in another country, but normally blur speedo and keep things sensible... Plus I always speed up the footage to make it appear Im going faster than I am to keep things exciting ;-)
any pets? you had your pet Womble behind you. What else didn't you declare huh? KTM know you're doing drug runs across the channel? looking forward to the next in the series to see what household cleaners Womble manages lose from his slack sack lol
I really don't like its appearance, but I don't doubt it's a good bike if it's reliable. There's something about KTMs I don't trust. I've never crossed on the train. Always used the ferries. Good video. EDIT: the best bike I've ever toured on very long distance: Buell Ulysses.
+1990 they are very reliable these days, these engines are proven and refined each year I would buy with confidence.. hell my 701 which is basically a ktm has been perfect
Love your reviews and rides absolutely hilarious and great content. Just be careful with words nowadays cause this world is sensitive " black forest not the ghetto" comments. I laughed but others may not and i know you meant no harm . Keep up the great work and stay rubber side down brother!
The roads, the speed, the music, the commentary, superb quality video.
Perfect timing, just about to make dinner. Gives me something to watch down in New Zealand on a cold winters night.
+Rob Defire enjoy your dinner Rob, with all the onscreen womble action hope it doesn't put you off your food 😂
Here we go, Nomnom
Nice. Trying to convince myself I dont need a GT. You are not helping.
+Rob Defire haha sorry 😂
Quick question, on your CBR, which top yoke have you got? Im after a drop crown for my 08 one.
And when is the next trip vid coming out?
Ha brilliant, the KTM looks like a brilliant package, not only can it munch miles it can fry sports bikes on track too. Looks like you guys had a blast, oh and that drone footage is kick arse! Really looking forward to seeing more. Keep up the great work Sir! :)

Lamb Chop Rides Certainly sounds impressive!
Awesome vid, I'm buying a GT in a few weeks and this vid confirms I made right decision, look forward the the rest of the series.
Chops, great start to what looks to be an epic adventure. Can't wait to see more!
+Lewis C thanks Lewis 👍
Your videos crack me up, shipmate! You're such a knob! Big fan here.
+Craig Macfarlane haha thanks.... I think 😂
Look forward to the next installment. KTM GT is on my shortlist (of one, at the moment!) to replace my K1300S.
+bdcash it's a great bike if you do a lot of miles & that electronic suspension is pure wow!

Great video mate, cant wait for the rest. Only 3 weeks and I take my own GT down the length of the UK (514 miles) for a service, then back. You might have convinced me to do a track day at Donington too.
+Robbie Hall oh nice, Enjoy the trip! Yeah track day half way through bloody great idea 😎😎
I thought living in the UK, having rain gear on your bike is a must-have?!!
Awesome video, I know i'm a bit late to the party but the main reason i'm commenting is because I wanted to tell you I approve of your song choices very much ;) Not sure if anyone else noticed but I do like a bit of Blink182 to outro a video :D
+Connor Gilmore thanks very much Connor appreciated buddy 👍
Surly the new super adventure would be the one to take on this trip.
+Demon Barber great bike but not as good when you throw a track day in the mix 😎
Great vid - nice bike! It's back to the LC vids of old - hooning around having a laugh!
+MadMac thanks Mac, yes that's it. Can't be too corporate me matey 😂😂
that train was sick I've never seen one like that and we definitely don't have those here in the states.
p.s. nice addition of blink there at the end
+Look At Me Luis yeah it's quite something and has two levels! Only takes 25 mins to cross the channel once you get going... still an hour of faffery beforehand 😂😂
awesome LCR. more more more
Can't wait for the track, would have been better on the Husky though.
Just back from a very different trip to france, on a bonneville! That GT looks to be one hell of a great all round bike!
+CPTN Blackbeard oh that also sounds rather epic Capt!
4 days until I pick up my 17 plate Superduke R!!! Woop
+TheMighty Vinnie lucky devil!
Q. How did you Shield the Seat from the Heat of the Engine.? It's a Pain in the Arrs after about an hour. Tried the Aluminum Heat 'Roofing' Insulation but that didn't work. Love the Bike but definitely not the Engine Heating up the Seat...
excellent fun and thats just your commentary
Any pets? LCR "just a pet snake in my trousers" 😏
+The Incredible Sulk I should have answered only a Womble 😂😂
This was a great video, and what's coming up looks awesome too :-) Just wondering, how did the 650f manage the trip? I've got one, but my longest ride has only been about 5 hours
+MojoTheJester did great Mojo, was being pushed at times on the faster sections but no issues at all.
Great upload. Did a similar trip on my Tuono last year, was great but a little cramped on the legs. Do you think the SuperDuke R would have been good for the trip?
+Jim 86 yes Super Duke does have a little more legroom than the Tuono.. not much but a bit. A screen on the SD and would be perfect, they even do soft panniers for it
awesome vlog as ever, great bike, makes my GS look very very dull
+Dean Toon yeah it's rather special 😎😎
Epic chops Epic!
+Dougie thanks Dougie!
Why was your mate touring on a CBR , with a bag that was to big for the rear seat ?
Thomas Evers because he can.....
Entertaining as always with your comments. You want to cover your friends plates but these can be easily read in some takes (hd vid).... so why bother? :)
+Andrés Padilla whoops looks like a fail from me then 😣😣😥
CycleCruza making an appearance at 4:00 lol
+Sleepingdragon 1 he loves some sssllllide Action!! 😂

Hey Chops, Every time I watch a video from your side of the pond, everyone is wearing tracksuits and helmets. Is this accurate with everyone?
Not many over here in the US even bother with a helmet.
Did you get the bike from KTM or rent it? Or is this your own bike?
Borrowed from KTM UK Rahul
@@LambChopRides here they don't even let us borrow a 390 Duke, despite videos getting over 200K views.
Lamb Chop Rides how does one borrow ?🤔

+Glen Whyte haha made me look it up you devil 😀😀
haha.. had to look it up myself !
So chops, you're a touring bike convert now, are ya?
+Matthew Perry haha well not with the amount of touring I do but see what it's all about 😁
Did you use the clutch to wheelie up in 3th?
+BurnSomeFuel yes little tickle on the clutch is all that's needed. Wheelie control shuts it down but still good fun
Thank you LCR
"any pets?" Oh yeah I have a cat in the baah fuck!
+sirico 😂😂
any pets? you had your pet Womble behind you. What else didn't you declare huh? KTM know you're doing drug runs across the channel?
