WCAG 2.2 and 3.0 Update - axe-con 2023

This talk will be focused on the developments happening around WCAG 2.2 and 3.0. We’ll learn what has been happening with WCAG this year, and what to expect from it in the future.

About the Speakers
-Wilco is a developer on and the product owner of axe-core and axe DevTools. He is the project manager for WCAG 3.0 and the facilitator of the W3C’s ACT Task Force. Based in The Netherlands, Wilco is leading Deque’s contribution in the EU-funded WAI-Tools project.
-Melanie Phillip was first introduced to web accessibility in 2002 while managing a website for a contractor to the U.S. federal government. Inspired by the way digital equality can enrich the lives of people of all abilities, she joined Deque in 2011 to make digital accessibility my full-time focus.
