@@sumantraraychaudhuri3077 Firstly, if he makes another story like this then why would audience reject that🙄. Did the audience reject Barfi? No! Did they reject Ludo? No! If he makes good content then no one will reject it!
Secondly, coming on Jagga Jasoos, Anurag himself said during the release that it was a film made for children. And it's the adult audience which decides the box office, not the kids. And to be honest the first half of JJ was indeed very boring, however the second half was genuinely good and binding. And I personally *hated* the way Ranbir's character delivered the dialogues through songs, it was too much Disney-ish and childish. And I think, this musical dialogue wala factor along with boring first half repelled the adult audience. I may be wrong though 🤷♂️. But I feel if the dialogues were straightforward then the film could have performed well because second half was the strength of the film.

True that. This movie is a pure masterclass. Ranbir is a great actor, but for me it was about jhilmil. For me it's Priyanka's best ever performance till date. Best movie directed by Anurag Basu. It will stay as one of my all time favourites.

That expression of illeana when she sees Priyanka represented everything. I can see different emotions in that single expression. It depends on how i look at it.
At the very moment she realised that barfi now has become the biggest 'What if and I wish' of her life.
That shows her regret for making the wrong decision.
Her character is personally my favourite in this movie even though all these three acted magnificently.
But i connected with Ileana the most. She is flawed. She made the wrong decision. She could have easily stolen barfi from jilmil but she knew that after rejecting him last time, she wasn't getting that old barfi back. She knew that it was just a shallow shell of what he was.
I just loved the irony of the love. Both fall for each other. Illeana rejected him because of her mother and to some extent her own mistake. Then she finds out about her mistake. Tries to get back to him. But it was too late.
Not a new story for movies but the way they acted, the product we got was the difference maker.
Illeana's character remained devoted to barfi for the rest of her life seeing barfi from distance enjoying his life with jilmil and she, just spending the life with the bitter taste of regret and unfortunates.

In that process, she suggested me two movies Barfi & Jab we met. Jab we met was beautiful in its own essence but when i watched Barfi, I cried for hours. Though we parted our paths, but she taught me the essence of love which i never live. In a world of "Move on" i still love to play "Phir aaya kyun" & miss her. Wish I could have understand her emotions a bit well.......

How Barfi didnt ever regret parting his ways with Shruti, upon seeing her after such a long time. He was genuinely happy with Jhilmil. Not even for a second that thought or look had crossed his mind that what would his life be like if he had gotten together with shruti but in contrary she could'nt stop herself thinking about it.
