I don't think this is really gonna do anything since the mobile division is their top focus. And there are far more phones than there are PCs/Console

Goose, as a developer I can understand why they are asking to see it happening. The reason is that they need to debug while the cheater is using the tool, so they can understand what is really happening behind the code. It looks really hard to solve the problem, since the cheaters are exploiting an existing tool, so the only way to bring it down is by removing the tool from the game temporarely or preventing it by some kind of token.
That sounds like a temporary fix

@@Goosiest them asking to see it live just sounds like an excuse to me. unless they are expecting a live demonstration of the cheat tool (not sure if even that will help). I have not played carx so idk how the lobbies work. if they are client side peer to peer lobbies hosted on the creator's pc there is no debugging. you cant debug a shipped version of the game on a user's pc(they might ask to send some game logs if there are any which they could have already asked you to do). if the cheat tool manipulating carx's dedicated server info then they have a much bigger issue. even then I am not sure if they can find whats the issue unless they are doing a premeditated test of the tool where they will be prepared. My assumption is CarX just don't have a security team. normal devs usually don't deal with cheating issues unless they are implementing the fix. a small security team usually try and find the vulnerabilities base on the evidence they have and try to replicate on a test build of the game. It's very unrealistic to expect to see it happening live(if it helps them at all). ( not sorry for the essay ;) )

For me as a developer, It is possible that the developers behind the PC version of CarX Drift lack the resources to maintain it. The original developers may have resigned from the company, or the issue could be financial - they may not be able to afford to hire more PC game developers. As a result, they may have opted to focus more on the mobile version of the game instead.
One reason for this could be that the mobile version is easier to maintain compared to the PC version. As we all know, PC games are more vulnerable to exploits and hacking attempts, which can be difficult to manage (because you can do crazy stuffs on PC). Even big companies like Rockstar, with their popular game GTA Online, have had to actively work on improving their anti-cheat system due to the many exploits in the game.

I don't play CarX myself but I do watch your CarX content. This issues really does sound very frustrating for streamers and many players, and even more so when it is unfixed.
I am a Forza player myself, which is a game that doesn't allow mods(those who try will face a high risk of getting banned). However, hackers do exists and sometimes ruin online experiences of players as well as leaderboards. The lack of anti-cheat in Forza as a non-moddabme game is bad, and I can't imagine how bad cheating problems are in CarX, a game that allows mods, without some anti-cheat measures.
Edit: In the case of Forza, we usually get updates with less and less new content if the devs are focused on the next game. Seems like this is the issue with CarX, but unlike Forza, it has happened for years instead of just 3 to 4 months

My observation: *_CARX TECHNOLOGIES is increasing fast but i guess they are more active on mobile games i guess , moreover if u see carx doesn't uses logo in their cars (cause they will have to spend on buying the license which is costly) so i am assuming they they have a sort of fixed budget in which they have to maintain their servers , bring constant update, labour charges, and many more, especially a lot on graphics_* ..
So bringing an anti grieffing system is not an easy task, so they have said it publicly but they have i guess capital isuess
And also , carx has launched carx street which is just fabulous, and now focussing on releasing on PC

This video sums up perfectly the state of carx. Myself, as a streamer, as suffered a lot with this hacking issue and nothing has been done to properly fix it. Not even that but the way the company manages the updates to the game is so poor thats makes it hard to make content for the streams. Ive seen many streamers diverging from streaming carx to stream other games simply because the game lacks innovation! Whena new update gets released, in a very rare ocasion, it brings something that the community has been asking for YEARS to be added and brings "new cars" that have been in the mobile version for months! The PC version of CarX is such a special game and has a lot of potencial to be more profitable than the mobile version but the company doesnt see it that way. Sad times for CarX content creators!

The sad part is, the developers are probably passionate about it. But management, team/project leaders set the task priorities, the submitted issues are blindly speedran by dedicated employees, or is often outsourced. Everything is about statistics and revenue, so refactoring and fixing not critical bugs are at the bottom of the list for their least profitable game. They do the bare minimum to not get into legal trouble.
also, as time moves on, the code is more and more legacy, less and less people can understand it as people forget and get replaced, so maybe they just straight up don't want to break something by removing the legacy admin tools

I’ve been playing CarX for ages now and have came across a few hackers/Greifers just in a normal server. At first its kinda surprising and a little funny, but when it happens the second time it just gets annoying. I can’t imagine it happening nearly every stream 😬

Even people like me who are playing carx street mobile, we also have this "dev not listening" issue for example we litterally waited a hole year for private rooms even if many people were spamming it for a long time. And when we remember about all the delays stuff etc.. yeah i like carx but let's be honest the dev team is definetly not able to handle a project like that properly

It really breaks my heart to see how things have changed over the years for carx. It was one of the top racing games in the world with so much potential. Just for it to be forgotten and thrown out for 16 mobile games that will die out faster than they can spend the checks 😔 maybe one day they will fix the issues but as of now I think it’s time we all step away and let whatever happens happen

I have been playing CarX for over 2 years and luckily have never got a hacker in my lobby. The only crazy thing I have seen is someone spinning like a tornade. As for a hacker switching lobbies I have never had that.
yeah...................I feel this mood for sure. the energy from this game is kind of a shell of what it once was, i remember the 90s grip left lane practice lobbies people use to set up and all the different styles of lobbies. i wouldn't be shocked is car X Street comes out on PC when they see Drift online starting to Die off that might be why there waiting because if its not as good or at least equal to then they will of waisted money on a PC port.
Its very sad to see a company that ignores anyone... I started to love drift simracing with your videos. Now i have a direct Drive wheel its wonderfull. I learned to drift with you jajajaj. And now is one of my hobbies. Go to assetto corsa servers, there are to many facilities to do servers for free. Sorry if my english IS not good im spanish😂

i really thought with the modded maps that itd save and chagne carx forever. i havent had really any issue with hackers but im not on as much as i used to be. rip.
I got hacked on going on maybe 2 years now and since I havent downloaded or loaded up the game since, it was my favorite game until they show no interest/rush to get it fixed, almost as if they dont wanna fix it they wanna let them ruin the game, so sad
Even for mobile games, the updates are dissapointing. Hackers still exists and no new maps or layouts for xds tandems. Just new cars and 'bu fixes'. Rn they're focusing on cdr3 which is a game no one asked for and mobile versions are also getting left behind. So I am with u on this one, to fire the dev team cuz they're really destroying the game and comunity. I love carx cuz its realistic and fun, but the majority of us are losing interest bcuz all they want is profit.
This is probably the only reason that I'm glad to be on console with this game. I haven't seen this type of thing yet.

I work with CarX studio and y'all have to remember that game was initially a Mobile game! And it's a really small studio! Barely 40 employees working at that studio and the studio is divided for each game there's a crew of 4-5 employees taking car of each games and these days they are actually focusing on CarX 3 so that's why there's no a lot attention given on other CarX game because their goal is to make the new CarX 3 available as soon as possible and it's will be available for mobile but CarX 3 will come to PC and Consoles eventually later. There's also CarX Street in working process to come available to PC and probably Console after! Y'all should stay strong and faithful! For people who know Star Citizen who became the biggest funding for a game CarX is a grain of rice studio compared to them and other big studios! And so far they all still taking time to develop things
we've gotten like 5 updates in the past year and none of those updates had an anti cheat or anti grief just new "cars" also same maps. I've also uninstalled like 4 times in the past 5 months because of those griefers only time i would reinstall is when you would go live. and I've also moved on to different drifting games like ac or beamng drive, same with other games like gta simply just got tired of the cheaters and griefers.
Goose you should talk to the OverDrift Festival team about their console release, they promised us we’d get it but they haven’t gotten back to us or given any updates

they still havent fixed the controller issue. steering assist off with controller makes you lose all speed when drifting and i can only do like 30mph because of this issue lol

I haven't played carx since using multiple USB devices has been an issue. Worked fine when I got the game, go back a year later and it hates multiple devices lol.
