I'm still not sure what the double tap system is.
5 units across. Plus the pass line, 6 units wagered.
Hit one place number, press to 3 units.
Hit the 3 unit place number a second (hence "double") time, it pays 4, roughly. Total on the number is now...3 + 4 = 7.
"Take it down to 1 unit.".
The player receives 7 - 1 = 6.
* From above, 5 units across*, plus the passline is 6 units.
Therefore, the player wagered 6 units, and after "double tap", receives all his amount, HOWEVER, the table still has all 6 numbers covered.
The player is now, "freerolling".
